This is principally achieved by m¥king grants from monies raised from local fundraising by the staff al Ihe various offices of Menzies LLP,
supplemented by gifts from Menzies LLP itself. The aim is to involve MenzEs and 115 staff in helping the local cornmunilies in whith il
operates and in so doing develop the ski118 and Involvement of the staff as well as bÈnÈfitting the wider community.
The trustees have had regard to the guidan￿ issued by Ihe Charity Cgmmis5H)n on provi(ling a public benefit and consider that the
adiviliè$ undÈrt8ken fulfil the charitable purposes of the Foundation.

Achievements and Perforniance
Fund raising has been achieved by the efforts of slaff at fv variou5 offi￿5 of MenzEs LLP. Aw￿e variety offund ra￿Ing acbvilEs were
undèrtaken with considerable 8uccess.
Total income of £37.155 was raised and grants lo14lling £34.248 were made lo over 8 separate local nation81 organisalions.
Subslanlial financial support was also received from Menzies LLP.

ThÈ Charity's policy 18 not to hold substantial reserves for exlerKJed penods.
Funds raised for a spBcthc purpose are distributed as SODn as feasible after the conclusion of the fundrdising effort.
Unrestricted funds can be held for longer periods lo enable rapid responses to grant requests for emergencyldis83ter relief and other
worthvthile charitable causes.
