The Friends of JBC is an independent charity registered In the UK to advance
educati¢x in South Afr￿ in accordance with Christs'an pnnciples and, in partscular, to
Supp￿ the Wofk of Johannesburg Bible College (JBC). JBC runs courses In handllng
God's word and connethiro It to South African society. It delivers courses In a number
of locats'ons in and around Johannesburg: Auckland Park. STheto aThJ recenty in
Alexandra Township. The course Is now recognised as a professional qu8hTrati￿.

The objectsves for the year were to grow Ihe base of do￿￿$ lo the charSty. to contlnue
regular funding of Ihe *Y>rk of JBC arKI to raise furK*"ng for an ext￿81￿ to the sile at
t)urlng 2024. a number of grants were made to J8C to fund Sludont bursaries to
support th￿r turt￿ fees and. In cases. the o)sts of transport to college as ￿11
as grants being made to help fvnd coHege slaffing. In •adI￿n. Ihe chanty re¢ewed
funds to SUFWt the builth'rMJ of a new 1th38 Institute of &'ble Tea(*iNJ in
Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
11 Is expected that further d￿atiOnS will be received during 2025. in particular to fund

The results for the year and thè d)aritys financial fX)sition at 31 Dècefflber 2024 are
s￿n in thè attached financial stsiements. Tothi income for the year was £452,268
(2023. £526,679). the fall was a result of a decline in significant gifts from Christsan
charities and Pfivate indivKluals receivwj during the year. Tolal resources expended
0 £406,007 (2023: £407,064}. to fund JBC'S OperalK￿ costs and student I￿sar￿.
and building costs of a new colw at Bulawayo in Smbabwe.
Reserves as at 31 DOC￿nber 2024 totalled £431.309 (2023: £385.048) aTrJ reprewil
