Donations to tharities of about 100/0 of our inLx5me ae noEm21ty made by the church on the basis of an
annual vote by the congregation to decide the receiving charsbes. However due to the Church's financial
position during COVID this gIV￿g was suspended for the finanryal year 2020 -2021. The resumpb'on of
donations to charities wll be considered at a future chur¢h meeb.ng when the financial FQSiton is
clearer.

should the need arise.

Our General Fund, exdudlng the investment propty value, stsnds at a surp1￿% of £15,385 $0 V+B are
£54,635 below our preferred level of reserves c4)mpared a defi(xt last year of £10.524, so it is still
necessary to continually address the subject of fundlng to ensure that the General Reserves are
increased to gt least £70,000. The reduced General Reser￿ have arisen due to losses and
redundancy payments incurred in closing the Oasis Restaurant due to the pandem< and tre loss of
rental due to the closurè of the halls
The other Funds are held for specific purposes and therefore are rK*t covered by the General Reserve
Policy. The Policy for the Rastri¢ted Funds is to use the fijnds only for the wrpose they vjere Intended
and to endeavour to Use them prudentty 60 that sUffici￿t funds are maintained for fulurg exFected
needs. These ffijnds are:_
Benevolont IPoor) Fund. UWJ by the minister to pay for tharitable needs. It is topped up by
anonymous donalions made in thè col*ion box at the tr￿k of the thurth. and from general
church resour￿ as the need afises.
Bulldlng Fund. Set up to provide a fuThJ for the occasional orfroff malntenan¢e or building
Choir Fund. The choir is paid for tts seNtce at vRddings and ￿fteralS. Tre choir members
have ijeclded to donate the monies to this fund whth is to b& US￿ for the purchase of
materials for the use of the choir.

In January 2001 Trinty United Reformedlmetholfist Chur¢h signed a local EGumenical Partnership with
St Nicholas Parish Church and Sutton Baptist Chur¢h. Thi¥ Council, wrth repreyentatives from all of the
partnership churches, seeks to find Wdys for the churc1￿8 to sharE in their Lx)mnbJn life here in Suiton,
and to boar witness to our oneness in Christ
