Macclesfield FC Community Sports Trust Ltd Registered number: 06469186 Trustees Report

We continue to have strong, well-established relationships with Cheshire East Council, local businesses, schools & colleges, local charities, Cheshire Constabulary, and the Football Club. These strong community partnerships have been a key to success and continue to be invaluable supporters of the Charity.

The financial results for the year to June 30" 2025 turned around a deficit from the previous year to a small, but very encouraging, surplus. Despite the Charity confronting cost and inflation challenges, the Charity has increased revenue by 40%. Solid growth has been driven across all the Trust programmes, revenue generated from grants and donations more than doubled, and new contracts secured with local councils to deliver even more sessions in the community for the most vulnerable.

This has also enabled us to build a stronger team that ensures the provision of affordable services to a wider range of people in the communities we serve now and in the future.

The Charity has an exciting year ahead too. With Macclesfield Football Club achieving promotion to the National League North, the Charity will regain access to potential significant grant income from The Premier League Charitable Trust, National League Trust and The Football League Trust. This will open up even more possibilities for the Charity to make a wider and deeper impact in the community.

The Company holds solid cash reserves that will enable the continuing development of existing and new activities, including free activity provision for deprived children.

Employees on 30" June 2025 - 6.

Activity performance

Our range of activities continue to be offered to Nurseries, Pre-Schools, Primary Schools and Secondary Schools. We now also have well-established activities for children during school holidays, before and after school and at weekends, and the creation of the Football Community Cup competition for schools continues to be a great success. Strong growth in our programmes in adult health and fitness and pandisability sports sessions have extended our social inclusion initiatives. After spreading our tailored sessions across care homes, adult day care centres and supported housing, we are proud to be a leading external provider in this sector across Cheshire East.

An illustrated and detailed report is attached.

Small company provisions

This report has been prepared in accordance with the provisions in Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

This report was approved by the board on 24 November 2025 and signed on its behalf.

Since 1997 we have been supporting our local community with a range of different support activities and sessions across Macclesfield & Cheshire East.

From our beginnings as Macclesfield Town FC Football in the Community with our thriving & successful football package including the successful BTEC academy and schools' sessions, to surviving the football club's liquidation and subsequent re-emergence as Macclesfield FC — its been quite a journey.

The last 4 years have been a challenge without most of the football charities funding support, but one we have come through with flying colours and now have an awardwinning Community Trust that supports more participants and groups across our borders than ever before.

Our 2025 Impact Report shows our growth, sustainability and plans for the future of the charity.

What a great year 2025 has been for the CST and football club, albeit tinged with sadness due to the devastating
loss of 2 of our players at the end of the year.
The loss of Ethan Mcleod in devastating circumstances in December really hit the club hard and will take a long

What a tremendous 2025 the football club have had.

After the play off loss against Marine the previous season in the Northern premier League, the 15t team responded amazingly in the 2024/5 season by becoming the record league winners with 109 points and 109 goals.

An amazing achievement that has seen the club promoted to the Enterprise National League North — which has had a major positive impact on not only the club but also the Community Sports Trust.

A massive congratulations to the club

With us now back fully integrated into the National League & working with the National League Trust regarding various programmes and potential new funding streams, we are planning even more big things for the new year.
