STRUCTURE and MANAGEMENT
Trustees normally meet quarterly during the year, subject to individual business commitments and have contact individually or severally on many occasions during the year. This arrangement has been badly affected by the Corona Virus Pandemic and Social distancing since March 2019 and we have used Zoom Meetings when necessary.
The Chairman presides over all meetings and ensures that the conduct of affairs is in accordance the objects of the charity.
The General Manager controls all day to day operations, with regular consultation with the Directors.
CHARITY OBJECTS
The objects of The Charity are “The promotion of Sport, Education and Recreation in the Community”, using sporting activities in structured but fun manner, with the creation of programmes which target special skills, fitness and general wellbeing.
Age groups range from Pre-School to Care Home residents and in various ways we have attempted to continue activities during lockdown periods, as illustrated in the Activity Performance.

Macclesfield FC Community Sports Trust Ltd for the year ended 30 June 2021
We continue to have a good well established relationship with Cheshire East Council, local business and educational bodies, The Professional Football Association, and Cheshire Constabulary. Grant aid is ceasing to be provided by The Football Conference Trust and The Football League following the winding up of Macclesfield Town Football Club. We are delighted that Macclesfield's largest employer, Astra Zeneca PLC, together with other businesses are financially supporting the Charity.
The attached accounts show a loss, but the cash reserves will allow for the continuationof all regular programmes from September 2021, including free activity provision for deprived children. Action is also being taken to grow existing revenue sources, targeting new grant funding to ensure to the future financial security of Charity and staff.
Number of employees on 30[th] June 2021 - 3.
