ORU PAANAI FUNDS 391 SCHOOLS IN NORTH SRI LANKA TO PROVIDE A MID DAY MEAL FOR OVER 43,000 CHILDREN. THE SCHOOL PREPARES A MEAL OF RICE AND VEGETABLES FOR ITS STUDENTS. THE RICE AND LENTILS ARE PROVIDED BY THE WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME. THE HELP WE GIVE ENABLES THE SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE A WHOLESOME AND PALATABLE RICE MEAL TO THE CHILDREN WHO LARGELY COME FROM HOMES LIVING BELOW THE POVERTY LINE.

Objects: I To Relieve Poverty And Hungerii To Advance Education And Promote Literacyiii To Relieve Sickness And Preserve And Promote Good Health -Amongst Those In Need In Sri Lanka In Such Ways As The Trustees From Time To Time May Think Fit, Including (But Not Limited To) Provision Of Support (In The Form Of Funds, Goods And Services) And Assistance To Other Organisations With Similar Aims As The Charity
