## _Dear Colleagues,_ _I thank you all for coming along with family and friends to this very important day where we can share with each other the wonderful and extremely vital work this organization has been doing._ _First of all, I offer a very special thanks to all the members, volunteers and parents who have volunteered and put exemplary efforts into ensuring that there's a place for the children and the young of the area to come and learn now and benefit the communities later. Thank you very much!_ ## _**Blue Ink Supplementary School**_ _We are ecstatic to share with you that many of those children who had started attending our classes in 2012, have moved on to universities. They have got places in medicine, optometry, business studies and accounting and other courses._ _This is truly a great achievement. A few hours quality support in small groups certainly brings about life changing transformations especially for families which aren’t exposed to higher educations._ _Our lessons on weekends and during the week is tailored to individuals needs where they are taught new skills, helped in any units where they need support as well as we offer help and encourage students to learn other skills, too, such as Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning. Furthermore, we motivate them to understand their social responsibilities from a young age._ ## _**– Reaching out to unreachable Education Project**_ _AS you all are aware and graciously have been supporting the education of over 650 children and young people from very deprived remote areas. Many of these pupils are from families where they can’t afford to buy a pair of trousers and shirts. With the help of you all, these children and young people are able to attend the school and they are trying their best to make most of the opportunities provided._ _We are thrilled to share with you that this year again, like previous years, all the pupils entering the High School exam have passed their examinations exceptionally well in all subjects._ _It’s noteworthy that the language of the area isn’t a written one; overcoming the language barriers and deprivations all students are delivered English Medium curriculum which is truly an astounding_ _achievement! We are extremely pleased to share with you the numbers of girls entering for education has reached almost 50% in all classes._ _For your continued support in this regard is highly commended and we thank you all profusely._ ## _**Gratitude**_ _The distribution of uniforms, books, expenses to the teachers, staff members and the distribution of food and live stocks among the families of students would not have been possible without the generous continued support from you all._ _Your support is making a life-changing difference. For that we thank you all profusely and wish you all the best for you and your families._ ## _**Challenges and Way Forward**_ We are aiming to enrol more girls students which is very important for the area. The intake will improve provided the transport facilities are established and that the school is registered for a Senior Secondary School. Your support is greatly appreciated.
