The trustees submit their annual rewrt together with the fllLancial statements for the year ended 31
March 2024. The financial stat¢ments have been prepared in accordance with the accoiinting policies
set out in note I to the accounts and comply with the charity's trust deed, the Charities Act 2011 and
Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Prncti¢¢ applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in accordance with thc Financial Re￿rtillg Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland published on 16107114.

Objeetives
Life Church London is an independent. non-denominational Cbristian Church who prcscnts
and teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Life Church objectives are:
To advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public ID accoTdanc¢ with the
Gospel of Jesus Cl]rist.
To relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by
the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, including the provision of
counselling and support in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the
trustees from time to time may think fit.
To provid¢ humanitarian aid to the needy.
To lead willing people to the Church of Jesus Christ
To help Christ loving people to grow as mature Cl]ristians
Review of Activities
The financial posttion of the organisation at th¢ end of th¢ financial year is as detailed in the attached
financial statements. The charity received income of £63.076 during the year.

Activities and Achievements During the Year
Christian Worship Service5
Life Church London continued to hold weekly worship servtcts ai Cumberland School. Plaistow, E&st London
up until the end of August 2023. From September month we were forced to relocate our worship services due to
our existing venue no longer being available for use. Life Church London started holding services at School 21,
Stratfor(L East knndon and continued to do so for the remainder of FY2023-2024. These services, which provide
spiritual teaching and community suppoQ have seen a gradual increase in weekly attendance. As per our church
culture we continued to provide refreslunents to foster a welcoming environment. particularty for families with
cbildren.
House Groups
House Groups are a vital part of the church's support network. To enhance community engagemen¢ the in-
person house group nteetings became more regular. in particular our East London and West London gatherings.
The weekly online meetings also remairned an important activity. offering members spiritual and social support
at Ibe comfort of their home.
Youth Ministry
Life Church London's youth ministy mawntained a robust online PTesence, with weekly online meetings that
offered a safe space for young p¢ople to connect and grow ID their faith. The youth also enjoyed variolls in-
person activities, including bowling and outinJ. which provided opportunitie5 for fun and fellowship.
Prayer Group
The Prayer Group met every Thursday online. providing spirittml encouragement and a plarforni for members to
support one another throuJ prayer.
Overseas Mission and Activities
The charity continued its supEx)rt of Lrfe ChU￿b Philippines, Conth￿uting to severaI misslon initiatives such as:
Lifecare Project LI.K.S.l.: From June 2023 onwart this initiative aims to end malnutritioll and
huntser in LimiDangcong and BucanA Palawan. Philippincs.
Medical Missions: In May 2023. Life Church London supported a 9-day LifeCare'Alay Buhay,
Medical Mission and Evangelistic Nights across PalawwL Philippines, providing healthcare services
and spiritual support to underserved communities.
Veg4Kids.' Frotn Ma￿b 2022 Ottw￿d$, 'GulayaJ) ni MinaD' a food-growing initiative, providino
organic and nutritious meals for children in Palawa￿ Pbilippine5. Donations covered farniing costs such
as sced, equipmenL and volunteer support.
Additionalty, Life Church London supported Life Chwch Mindanao in its efforts to a&sist disadvantaoed
families.
Local Outreach
The church once again Organized food pack distributions for local residents in Plaistow are4 helpino to meet
llnmediate needs and build relationships within the community. This initiative cuhninared in a ChristD
celebration.

Achievements And Perforniance
As rn¢ntioned in the previous section, Life Church London overcame significant challenges associated with the
loss of existing venue. to reslune in-peT50n gatherity for worship services. Main challenge was the discovery
and securing of alternative premises. Unfortunately. none of the available premises prnvided on-site storage
facilities for church's equipment and an off-site storage facility had to be secured. School 21 in Strdtford was
evenlually selected as the ncw venue" however. rar Ewking spaces were very limited.
Although impacted by the venue ¢hauoe& Life Church LoDdon continued to foc￿ on spiritual growth and
volunteer development ¢ftYorts. Tbere were several mentoring and training events throughout the year, worth
special mention is the 'ShimtDer Woll)en's Conference, and the 'Brdveheart Men's Conference,. The church also
held its annual summer Camp in May 21Y23, where participants enjoyed different tea￿4)Ulld1llg acttvities.

The charity continued its support of local and international missions. The initiatives and pro.¢YamJnes mentioned
'ActiYities and AclLievemcnts' section, enabled Life Church London to supp)rt and positivety itnpact several

How Our Activities Deliver Publie Benefit
Our main activities and WI￿ we ty to help arc as dcscribcd in our objectives. All OUT chaTitsble
activities focus on these objectives to fi￿ber our charitable purposes for the public benefiL
Reserves Policy
Wc a￿ confident that th¢ wojected ongoing funding will be adequate to support charity's activities in
the fo￿see&ble medium terni and that our operating costs will be met. During summer of 2021 we
transitioned to in-person gatherings. which incurred larg¢ initial expenses and new on-going expenses,
however. we made sure that we can meet these and continue in the charity's activities
At 31 March 2024 there was free unrestricted reserves of £28.682 and this will be used to support the
charity's future actÈviti¢s.
ExpeDditure
The charity's expenditure was primarily directed towards the operation of its ministries, including worship
services, outreach activitie4 and support for international missions.
Risk management
The trustees have a duty to identify and TCVICW the risks ts) which the charity is exposed and to
ensure appropriate controls are in place to pmvide reasonable assurance against fraud and
etror.

initiatives.
The charity rernain5 comtDitted to its core objectives and is optimistic about its ability to deliver publtc benefit in
the coming y¢ar.
Slatement of Trnstees, Responsibilities
The trustees arc responsible for preparing the Trust￿￿. Annual Report and the financial statements in
accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom
Generally Accepted Accounting Pwti¢¢).
The law applicable to charities in England & Wales requires th¢ trustees to prepare f￿anCIal
statements for each fuLanciaI year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of th¢ charity
and of the incoming resources and application of rcsourccs of the charity for that period. Itt preparing
these fmancial statements, the trustees are required to:

I report to the INstees on my examination of the financial statements of Life Church London ('the charity,) for
the year ended 31 March 2Lf24 which comprise the Statement of Financial Activities. the Balance Sheet and
related notes.
This re￿)rt is made solely lo the charity's trustee4 as a kndy. in accordance with section 145 of the Charities Act
2011. My work h&s been un(krtaken w that I might state to the charity's trustees those matters l am required to
state to them in this report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent perniitted by kw. I do not accept or

Responsibllities and basis of report
As the trustees of charity you are responsible for the Preparation of the fu￿￿claI statements in
a￿ordanCe with the requiments of the Charities Act 201 I ('th¢ Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of the charity's financial ststements carried out under section
145 of the Charities Act 2011 ('the 201 l Act'} and tn carying out my examination I have followed all
the applicabl¢ Dircctiolls given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act.
An independent examination does n(rt involvc gathering all the evidence that would b¢ required in an
audit and consequently does not cover all the matters that an auditor considers in giving thcir opinion
on the financial statements. The planning and conduct of an audit goes beyond the limited assurance
that an independent eL￿nIllatiOn can provide. Consequentty l express no opinion as to whether the
financial statcments present a 'true and fair. view and my report is limited to those specific matters set
out in the independent e￿￿niner'S statement.

I have completed my examination. I confmn that no material matters have come to my attention in

with items recogDised at Cost or transaction value Unl￿ otherwise ststcd ill
the relevant note(s) to these accounts. The financial statements have been prepared
in accordance with the Statetnent of Reconunended Prdctice: Accounting and
Reporting by Charities preparing tbeir accounts in accordanc¢ with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK attd Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)
issued on 16 July 2014 and the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the
United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland IFRS 102) and the Cliarities Act 2011.
1. 2. Incoming Resources
Donations relate to amounts receivable during the year.
1.3. Capital Grants
Grants towards capital expenditure are credited to a deferred capital grant and
released to Income and Expenditure account over the expected lives of the assets.
The amount released equals the depreciation charge.

Rstricted funds are to be used for specific purposes as decided by the trustees.
