Introductlon
The Cannock Chase ar(￿lt was made up of twthty thurtt￿ on and around the geographical
area in South Staffordshire known as CannLYk Ch85e.
These churthes are used primarllyto pro¥lde places of Christian worship, edLFcation and
fellowship for the people around those place& The buildings are also used to provide room5
fr*r a Wdriètv of communitv act$￿tre

The fjrcult exists to worship God. serve our comrnunities and grw ourthurthes.
The world hos seen unprecedentèd events this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic and
Cannock Chase method￿ Churth ha5 been no exwtion. When the Government Intr¢xluced
a total lockdown from the 23rd Marth 2020 all our churches dosed thwr doors for worship
and all acti￿tIes. Str￿1 of our thurches offered worship by Zoom. a brydeo conferen¢ir
seNc4 or by YouTube or by telephone Conferen￿ ser¥ice. Most of our thurche5 retume(I to
worship in the buildings in August 2021.
The Rev Edward sa&￿e left the fjrcuit in August 2020 and he was replaced bythe Rev
Christopher Ambler. Therefore from the 1st September 2020 the ministers are Rev Nigel
Young Isuperintendentl. Rev Chrlstopher Amb￿. Deacon &45an Culver. Revjacob Donkoh,
and Rw Margaret Eale

The Qrcuit had thirty fourfvlly acuedlted local preathers on the Plan of which twenty one
are active and there are two local preachers on trial. none on note and there are twenty-
three worshlp leaders.
Under nomial drcumstan￿ there rs. auoss the OroJiL on average approximately 312
Sunday serwces each quarter. These Servi￿ are, in the maln, conducted by the Ministerial
Staff, ￿pern￿MerJry Ministers. Local Preathers and some ifjsiting preathers. On ottaslons
when there are insuffitient preachers available then kKal arran8ements have to be made.
In addition to Sunday Sernces Se￿3[ ofthe thurd*5 in the CIr￿￿t hold m*J¥￿k services
which a￿ as relaxed and informal and in many wes attract a wider corwegation from
across the denominations.

Cadets.

churches paid their in full.
The manse at Dundalk Lane continue5 to be let and provides rental income to the tircuit.

expendrture.
