**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC AND MUSIC PERFORMANCE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AS A MEANS TO IMPROVE THEIR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT.

**Activities:** Provided training in orchestral playing for children from poor backgrounds by providing staff and other teaching resources, providing musical equipment and the opportunity to participate in musical events. Provided benefit to over 1000 children from 11 primary schools in the London Borough of Islington, from two hubs based at Highbury Grove and Islington Arts and Media School.
