Alm and Purposes
Crown Global is.an international Christian charity based in Surrey. The Trust operates both in the UK and
overseas and runs several projects which aim to transform lives and empower leaders across all walks of
life. This includes grant funding to individuals and other charities who meet our objectives, as well as
direct mission work through our established network of volunteers and church. The CharÈty also works
with church group5 across Surrey and South London to promote cohesion, openness and
inter-denominational ecumenical relationships through our events called Yhe Gatherinl,. The charity
also operates a church called Crown Family Church based in Epsom in Surrey, UK.
Objectlves and Artivities
This year the charity has been pleased to maintain existlng mission projects whilst cutting the c05t of
travel associated with this activity. We have also reduced the number of international grants in line with a
decline in donor income. The primary focus of the charity duiing the reporting period, has been to
support our church community in Surrey, whilst increasing the number of UK-based events.
When planning our activities for the forthcoming year, the Board of Trustees, in conjunction with our
President and Management Team, has considered the Commission's guidance on public benefit and in
particular the specific guldance on charities for the advancement of rellgion. Specifically, we aim to
enable ordinary people to live out their faith withln the communlty they are part of.

Grant Fundingfor International Aid and Relief Projects
Working in partnership with other charities, we are pleased to have given grant funding to continue the
support of aid projects across East Africa. This has continued financing small water filtration kits, providing
clean water. We have also provided emergency relief for displaced individuals who have been affected by
the conflict in Ukraine. Grant funding has been given to established charity partners working within these
volatile geographies to ensure that funds reach those in most urgent need. This has profoundly
transformed the lives of individuals and families in unreached communitles.
Leadership Training in Europe
This year we have completed six training projects through local church partners in Germany,
Denmark, Norway and The Netherlands. We have also run our CSSM course in the UK and in The
Netherlands to empower Christian leaders. We continue to foster relationships with church communities
across the world and plan to deliver future training to strengthen our mission.
Mission and Evangelism
The number of international missions has significantly reduced this year in line with a reduction in
donations. UK Missions have been conducted through the church in Surrey. The majority of this local
attivity has been centred around supporting vulnerable and isolated people. Befriendlng and providing
pastoral care grants and support has been a central focus durlng this period, due to the rise in the cost of
livlng.
Ecumenical Relationships through The Gathering,
Empowering individuals to work together in our sha￿d Christian mission is of utmost importance to us.
Our UK events called The Gathering have continued this year. We welcome notable speakers from across
the Chri5tlan community to speak at these events. We continue to bring together around 200 people every
month to grow in fellowship. Due to the success of these events, we have incurred an increased costs of
venue hire. We have also relinquished our lease on our property in Wallington in order to run our events
in Epsom for increased visibility within the community.
Financial Review
The Charity reappointed Champ Consultants as its auditors for the period. A copy of the Independent
Examiners Report is detailed in the Financial Statements.
Income over the period decreased by 430A on the previous financial year. The Charity claimed Gift Aid of
£21,274 which brought the total unrestricted income to £124,673.
The Charity awarded £8,554 of charitable grants over the period and reduced its international mission
budget by 67% to £9,205 in line with our reduced income. The charity increased its investment in events
with a UK conference and Gathering events. The Charity continues to be buoyant and thriving, despite the
reduction in donor income. This is shown by the figures in the Balance Sheet which shows our totsl capital
and reserves.
Decloration of Interests
The charity does not have any conflicts of interest. Furthermore, the Trustees have setup financial checks
and balances to ensure that the finances are properly managed by our volunteers. The trustees are
confident that sound financial controls and processes have been put in place to protect the volunteers
concemed against financial misconduct or fraud.
Reserdes Policy
It is the policy of the Charity to maintain a balance on unrestricted funds wherever possible, which
equates to at least three month's unrestricted payments. This has been met throughout the period. The
Charity will continue to maintain its reserves in line with thls Polivi.

Volunteers
Our UK volunteers have continued to provide exemplary services in the local community around Surrey
and South West London through our Church. We had 39 active individuals volunteer over the period who
have enjoyed a thriving programme of events and training.
Safeguardlng
The Charity remains committed to the highest standards of child protection and care for vulnerable adults.
The Charity has a team of Safeguarding personnel who report into the Board. The Safeguarding Officer has
reported no Safeguarding issues over the period. We have worked with extemal consultants Thirty-
One:Eight (formerly The Churches Child Protection Advisory Service) to develop a program for on-going
training as well as an overview of our policies and procedures.
Structure, Governance and Managernent
The trustee5 re-appointed Rev. Stephen Pailthorpe as ex officio voluntary President of the Trust to help
further our objectives throu8h our mission work. The trustees received resignation from Mr Jonathan
Eames, following 4 years of exemplary seniice. The trustees were also pleased to appoint Mr Paul Johns in
an interim role who served for 6-months. The Trustees wish to thank both outgoing trustees for their
support. No trustees have received remuneratlon for their services during the period. The trust has elect-
ed to submit itself to the governance standards of Churches In Communities Internatlonal and the Evan-
gelical Alliance.
The Board of Trustees met three times over the period and elected sub committees of volunteers to
oversee specific projects within the Trust. These committees reported to our ex officio President to
manage and oversee. The Management Team, which includes the Trustees and the President, regularly
revlew the flnancial processes of the trust and presents this annual return in good faith, demonstrating a
high level of transparency.
