Annual Report 2023-2024 Nene Valley Methodist Circuit Charity No.1135896 The Circuit The Circuit consists of 7 Churches situate in Higham FerrerslRushden, Irchester, lrthlingborough, Raunds, Wellingborough, Earls Barton and Wollaston. The Circuit is committed to worship, learning and caring, service and evangelism. There is good supportlfellowship and sharing of resources between the Church communities with an ever-growing sense of belonging to one another across the Circuit, who are planning, in the future, to become One Trusteeship. Our Misslon Statement The Circuit seeks to utilise its Mission Statement to encourage ways of working together towards the needs of others in our communities and across the world. Our Mission Statement, based on the parable of the Sower (Matthew 13) is To: Plant Faith, Nurture Dlsclples and Grow God's Kingdom As a Circuit we will endeavour to continue to support our Mission Statement by: Encouraging one another in our daily walk with Christ as well as showing others by our actions the love of God within our lives. Continue to engage together in Worshipi bible study and prayer Continue to meet together in person and online in discussion groups and fellowship so to have Godly conversation. continue to nurture and grow our discipleship and remain open to new challenges in finding different ways of worshipping and learning together Since September 20231 we have employed two Mission Enablers to encourage our congregations to look to grow God's Kingdom through sharing our faith both in person and online using social media so that we connect with people further than in the communities where we live. Since April 2024 we have employed an operations manager who supports the Circuit staff and Circuit Leadership team ID dealiyg with finance, propertyi safeguarding and GDPR and providing administrative support to Church Leadership teams and to the superintendent minister in order that they can be more focused on mission and pastoral care.
