**Objects:** 1 PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TO PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE AUGHTON AREA OF THE LUNE VALLEY (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS 'THE BENEFICIARIES') BY WHATEVER CHARITABLE MEANS THE COMMITTEE THINK FIT.2 TO ESTABLISH AND MANAGE A RECREATION ROOM TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, DISABILITY, SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID BENEFICIARIES.

**Activities:** The recreation room is run by the villagers for the adults and children in and around the parish of Aughton.Fundraising through a village show, Christmas and easter bingo, Jacobs joins, bonfire night, quiz night, cheese and wine evenings, dominoe drives, carpet bowling, badminton, table tennis, music lessons, childrens parties, social bar evenings, zumba, pancake day, etc.
