**Objects:** TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS, IN PARTICULAR BEARS, BY PROVIDINGAPPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEEDOF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILLUSAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERALAND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.

**Activities:** Free the Bears works to end the exploitation of threatened bear species and supports the protection of bears in the wild. We work with governments and nongovernmental partners to strengthen wildlife law enforcement, improve environmental awareness and promote sustainable livelihoods for communities that previously relied on the exploitation of bears.
