Objectives of The Matthew Elvidge Trust are to: - increase the awareness of depression, its signs and behaviours - equip and train people, who are best placed to identify those at risk from depression - encourage and help young people, who are suffering from depression to seek professional help - reduce the stigma of depression

Objects: (i) To Advance Such Exclusively Charitable Purposes For The Public Benefitaccording To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees Shall Decide(ii) Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing:(a) To Increase The Awareness Of Depression And Its Signs Andbehaviours In Young People(b) To Equip And Train People Who Are Best Placed To Identify Those At Riskfrom Depression(c) To Encourage And Help Young People, Who Are Suffering Fromdepression To Seek Professional Help In The Form Of Counselling,psychotherapy And Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (cbt)(d) To Reduce The Stigma Of Depression(e) To Provide Financial Assistance To Those Suffering From A Depressiveillness
