The Sadaquat Social and Welfare Trust is a Burnley based community association dedicated to improving the social welfare and economic circumstances of the local Asian community. We work in and around the Daneshouse and Stoneyholme areas of Burnley - areas with very high proportions of Asian residents, and two of the most deprived areas in the Northwest of England.

Objects: (A) The Advancement Of Education Among New Immigrants To The UK By Such Means As The Trustees May Determine.(b) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.(c) The Promotion Of Racial Harmony For The Public Benefit By:i) Promoting Knowledge And Mutual Understanding Between Different Racial Groups;ii) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness About Different Racial Groups To Promote Good Relationsbetween Persons Of Different Racial Groups.
