Basls of the A¢¢ount5
The PCC is a public benefit entity within the meaning of FR5 102. The financial statements have been prepared under
the Charities Act 2011 and in accordance with the Church Accounting Regulations 2006 8overnln8 the individual
accounts of PCCS, and with the Regulations true and fair view" provisions, together with FRS 102 IA as the
applicable accountin8 Standard5 and the 2019 version of the Statement of Recommended Practice, Accountlng and
Reportlng by Charities ISORPIFRS 10211.
The flnanclal statement5 have been prepared under the historical cost conventlon, except for Investment assets.
which are shown at fair value.
The financial statement5 include all transactions, assets and liabllities for which ihe PCC is re5pon5ible in law. They
do not include the accounts of church 8roup5 that owe their affiliation to another body, nor those that are informal
8atherln8s of church members.
The PCC has taken advantage of the exemption in the Financial Reportlng Standards from the requirement to
produce a cash flow statement on the 8rounds that It Is a small charity.
Therels no material uncertainty surrounding the goin8 concern of the PCC.
Funds
Restricted funds represent income from trusts which may be expended only on those ￿$trIcted objects provlded In
the terms of the trust or bequest, and donatlons or grants recelved for a speclflc object or Invited by the PCC for
specific object. The funds may only be expended on the speclfic object for which they were glven. Any balance
remalning unspent at ihe end of each year must be carried fO￿ard a5 a balance on that fund.
Unrestrlcted funds are general funds whlch can be used lor PCC ordlnary purposes.
Endowment funds are funds, the capital of whlch must be maintalned; Income may only be spent on those restrlcted
oblects provide(i in the terms of the trust.
Incomlng Resources
Collections are reco8nlsed when recelved by or on behalf of the PCC. Planned 8lvin8 receivable under Gift Ald is
recognised only when received. Income tax recoverable on Gift Ald donations is reco8nised when the Income is
recognised. Grants and legacies to the PCC are accounted for a5 500n a5 the PCC is notified of it5 legal entitlement,
the amount due is quantifiable and ultlmate receipt by the PCC is probable. Funds ralsed from events and tradlng
activities le.8. fetes, sale of books or ma8azinesl are accounted for gross li.e. before any retail costs that may have
been deducted from the gr055 proceeds). Rental income from letting Church premises is recogni5ed when the rental
Is due. Interest is accounted for when receivable.

The PCC has no pollcy of insurance a8alnst loss arislng from neglect or default of PCC members nor is any Indemnlty
provided for PCC members In respect of the consequences of any loss.

The PCC is required to disclose any grants made by the PCC to another Institution In excess of £1,000. No such
