Manlake Local Mission Partnershlp.
Th8 PCC has sp8clllc r8sponslblllt188 lor Ihe church bulldlngs and the church hall and Its
mernbgrs are ellher ex offlclo or elected al the Annual Parochlal Meetlng In accordance wtth the
Church Represenlatlon Rules. At present the PCC has 11 lay membars and 8 ex officio members
{19 in totall.

St Lawrènce's was open all year for sepAca8 and VK have hosted events agaln, however, tha
lear PO￿ th• pand•mlc remalns an understandabl8 factor and has kepi many of our older
congrogants away and ha8 m8antthat we hav8 had to work hard lo estab118h evenls Ihatpeopie are
comfortabl8 attandlng. We have malntalned Evenlng Prayar vla Zoom on 8v8ry Tuesday and
Thursday evenlngs throughout the year and Ihls has conllnu8d to attract a steady Intere81 and
lollowlng. Zoom has conllnued to be a means of communlcallon, social oalherlng and worshlp as
well as a means of holdina meetlngs too although less so than beforg. We have also continued
dolng almost dally btogs to ke8p folks In touch, to olfgrsplrltual advlce and support, and to cetebrats
the Salnls and Holy days. These havo conllnu8d to prove qullg popular and hopefully useful too.

we h081ed the St Lawrence Academy lor thelr Chrfslmas Servlcas agaln a8 well a8 h0811ng
Bushflelds Infant School. the Hospltal and the Chrlstma$ $ervi¢8 for St Hugh's Sp8clal School. It
was a ￿Y lo hosl 9 Lessons and Garols In Church and our Chrlstlngle servlce was a mas8lve
success and exlromely well attended. We atso hosted Midnight Mass Ythich agaln wa5 well attended
and appr9clatgd.

which have enabled people to pay for weddlng8 and hall hlre electronlcally and people lo glv8 that
way loo. Thls ha8 been succèssful and has seen an Increase In glvlng atth8 occaslonal offices and
blgoor occaslons too.

Issue of dralnage around the Church. Wa are, a8 over, gratelul to John Veall who has worked hard
io do many essentlal maintenanco works In and around the Church and the Hall. We are al80
gra18ful to Steven Kelsey for revamplng tho nollce board In the hall grounds. The hedge8 on th&
perlm8ièr ol Ihe hall orounds have had a much-nè8dad trim and re8haping. and the area at the rear
of Ihe church was also cleared and looks so much better a8 a r88uII.

and hls larnily have Settled In really w811. Aevd Julle Mlles compleled hertralnlng wlth us In June and
was rellcansad to Iho Benoflce by Blshop Davld In Juno. She contlnued to worf¢ full timè al tho St
Lawrence's Academy as well as supportlng and •nhanclng our mlnlstry here. Part of Ihal mlnlsty
was lo start a very 8ucce88lul Youth Emmaeus courso whlch has sean 7 young8ter8 orow In lalth
supported by a small amiy of adults. Kelth Farrnery conllnues to blossom and grow In hls mlnlstry
amongsl us, whlch Is much appr8clat8d by conareoatlons In Church and at Randolph Care Home
especlally. As Vlcar I have conllnuod tho Roconclllng Ml8slon whl¢h18 Starung to produce Iwll In our
local $8ttlng.

the congregatlons. The Beneflce also 8tart8d a Knll and Natter group. agaln sharlng thg vonue
bet￿9n the two churehes. which has proved succasslul and Is 8nJoy8d by many from wslhln and
wRhout Ihe congregatlons as well as helplng support other charltles and organlsalions with its
produce. The Soup and Sandwlch lunch for those affected bythe cost-014iwng crlsis morphed Inio a
Coff09 and Chat group on Thursday whlch, agaln. has been succe88tul. We hava been able to host
several Afternoon teas, lunches as w811 as th8 Harv9sI Supper and Now Year lunch 100. Our

posltlve and enjoyed by the r8sld8nts and appr8clat8d by the stall too. We also have restarted

We contlnue lo relhlnk and reimaglne howwe do mlsslon and how we can be more involved and
