## **Annual Report** 2023 was a year of growth for Heath End Church. We enjoyed seeing new people join the congregation of the church and hope that they will continue to call Heath End their home. Our church discipleship has mainly taken place through Sunday morning worship, Evening Services and Growth Groups. We have continued to run many outreach ministries: Coffee and Chat, which has continued to grow with people from the community joining together for friendship each week; J-Team children’s group; Toddlers; Messy Church, which has been a successful way of engaging families connected to the church but not in the worshipping community of the church; Friendship Group, which has been quieter than previous and needs reflection. Work to become a CIO and ‘future proof’ our trust documents has been ongoing. Work has been carried out on the Community Room of the church to replace the floor which had started to come into disrepair. The main Christian festivals were celebrated well: Easter, Pentecost, Harvest and Christmas, with special services and giving opportunities. We had the joy of celebrating 2 full-immersion baptisms during the year. Our membership stood at 28 including the Ministers at our AGM. We held regular meetings of our membership for decision making, encouragement and discerning vision.
