**Objects:** TO ADVANCE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT EDUCATION IN PAEDIATRIC ENDOCRINOLOGY, DIABETES AND RELATED SUBJECTS BY PROMOTING RESEARCH IN SUCH AREAS AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH AMONGST HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, SERVICE PROVIDERS AND THE PUBLIC BY THE MEANS OF MEETINGS, PUBLICATIONS IN ANY FORM AND BY ANY OTHER APPROPRIATE MEANS

**Activities:** The BSPED promotes research and training by encouraging collaboration and open dialogue. The BSPED holds an Annual Conference which incorporates a Training Day and specialist nurses sessions. The committees of the BSPED work to create guidelines, audits and research to advance knowledge and good practice in our specialist area. Information is communicated with members through a monthly newsletter.
