The financial re5ufts for the year are Set out in the Statement of Financial ActNitie5 1)n paBe 7 and the position
at the end of the year is sho￿￿ in the Balance Sheet on page
St Mawgan Pre-school knmited own computer equiprY*nt which are disclosed as tangible fixed a55et5 in the
financial statements.
The pre-school meet in the village Community Hall, where it has usè of a large hall and associated facilities and
pays a rent to the Organi￿110n that operate the hall.
The pre-school ernployed five members of staff, all of 7whom have appropn.ate early years qualthcations at the
accountin8 year end.
Incoming resources in the period were £79.715.
A surplus of £9.582 was made in the year. At 31 August 2023 total rÈseNes were £18.010. all of which
represented fvnds introduced by the members the incorporation of the prÈ•school on 4 March 2010.

RESERVES POUCY
All funds at the moment are unrestricted to allowthe pre-school to have suffitiènt funds at its disposal to meet
the daily running expenses. as income is dependent on the number of thildren in the region who will be
attending the prtrschool. Implementrng a plan for raising funds for day to day running of the pre-school is
therefore a priority. butthe long-term aim is to obtain funditw bywhatever meansare availablefor thè company
to own its own premises.

Company Law requires the trustees to prepare atcount5 for Èath financial year which give a true and fair view
of the tharitable companrfs state of affairs at the end of the year and of its income and expenditure for that
year.

the preparation of the accounts. The charitys trustees consider that an audit is not fèouired for this period
under section 144121 of the Charitles Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

Voluntary income is recognized as incoming re%¥urce5 when recèivable. except in so far as they a
incapable of financial measurement.
When donors speafy that donations and grants given to thè charity must be used in fijture account4n8
periods. the income is deferred until those periods.
Incoming resources are recogniied in the financial statements when the effect of a transaction or other
event results in an increase in the Charitys assets. Dependent upon:
