**Objects:** 3.1 IN THE SOMERSET AREA TO EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, THEIRFAMILIES AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS TO IMPROVE AWARENESS ANDUNDERSTANDING OF THE EXISTENCE, DIAGNOSIS AND ONGOING MANAGEMENT OFDIABETES IN YOUNG PEOPLE3.2 TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF DIABETES SUFFERERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18AND THOSE CARING FOR THEM IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING ARESPITE SERVICE AND BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES,SUPPORT SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORYAUTHORITIES;3.3 TO HELP DIABETES SUFFERERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIESESPECIALLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH LEISURE ACTIVITY AND ENCOURAGE FULLPARTICIPATION IN DAY TO DAY LIFE;AND THAT THEY DO SO IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO ALWAYS BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ANDPROVIDING A PUBLIC BENEFIT

**Activities:** Continues to provide local support  for children with Diabetes and their parents examples of this is education and peer support and purchasing of equipment and resources.The charity has continued to support activities for both  and children. Working with Diabetes specialist teams  tofurther enhance digital  to support the children  in their day to day  management  of their Diabetes within Somerset
