Encouraging and supporting local residents to reduce their carbon emissions and live in a more sustainable way with the aim of conserving, improving and protecting the physical and natural environment and reducing the carbon footprint of West Oxford by 80% by 2050.

Objects: 3.1 The Objects Are To Conserve, Improve And Protect The Physical And Natural Environment For The Public Benefit By Promoting: 3.1.1 The Prudent Use And Sharing Of Resources;3.1.2 The Reduction Of Waste Through Re-Use, Reclamation, Recycling, Use Of Recycled Products And Use Of Surplus; 3.1.3 The Reduction In The Consumption Of Fossil Based Fuels; 3.1.4 The Use Of Low Carbon Means Of Transport;3.1.5 The Planting Of Trees To Sequester Carbon And Reduce Flooding; With The Aim Of Reducing The Carbon Footprint Of West Oxford By 80% By The Year 2050. 3.2 To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Protection, Enhancement And Rehabilitation Of The Environment And To Promote The Study And Research In Such Subjects And Dissemination Of The Results Of Such Research And Study To The Public.
