HOME-START STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS IS A VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE WELFARE OF FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN. VOLUNTEERS OFFER REGULAR SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND PRACTICAL HELP TO FAMILIES UNDER STRESS IN THEIR OWN HOMES AND/OR IN GROUP SITUATIONS, HELPING TO PREVENT FAMILY CRISIS AND BREAKDOWN.

Objects: A To Safeguard, Protect And Preserve The Good Health, Both Mental And Physical Of Children And Parents Of Childrenb To Prevent Cruelty To Or Maltreatment Of Childrenc To Relieve Sickness, Poverty And Need Amongst Children And Parents Of Childrend To Promote The Education Of The Public In Better Standards Of Child Care; Principally But Not Exclusively Within The Area Of Staffordshire Moorlands And Its Environs ('The Area Of Benefit')
