St. Thotnds of Canletbury PCC has the responsibility of ctroperaling w((h the Vlcar. in promoting wthin Ihe parish the
whob Mission ollhe Ch"urch, pastoral, evdngelistrjc, social and ecumenical. It also has Maintenan￿ ￿SponSibl11t1eS for the
Chuith. the chU￿h Centre, Stokes House (for clergy accA)rnrnodationl and the flats at 29 and 31 St. Thomas Road.
Achievements and performance
There are 16912022." 1671 parishioners on the Church Elecknral Roll. 96 of whom are not rests4enl within the parish. 6
names were added during the year and 4 weie removèd through death, requested r¢mO￿al or because thèy moved away
Irorll the paiish. The average weekly attendan￿ in 2023, counted during October was 219 adutts and 38 children, vihich
is an approximate 47% increase over the attendan￿ rye8suced in 2022.

role in developing the spiritual life ol thè parish. The clergy and licensed lay ministers have managed lo offer daily live
strèarned moinin9 and evening prayers. Serviceg in the church are held over 6 days during the week wth 3 seTrJices on a
Sunday. with an addrt￿na1 Family Mass offered on the second Sunday each month. Addrtiop.al seN'ices are provided on
Festivals an¢ Hoty days. The Churck. is usually tspen every day for prayer, informalion and as a sacred s￿e for visitors.
The mbnistry team of defgy and licenced lay ministers havg continued to support other churches within the deanery. leading
worship and condLCting pastoral offices 35 réquired.
Home group5, prayer groups and study groups continued to rneet throughout the year using a blend of online methods and
in person fellowship. This includes running the Alpha coutse iwice a year and the course in Christian Studies which are
open to all.

theii. dwotional lile.such as Lent book5 and Auvenl calendars.The Friends of St Thomas h8ve run Easter adivilies, a c&-015
and chilli night, supported two youth MUSI￿ conGetts held during the year and a chr15tm.as raffle. Additional activities have
bèèn arranged by volunteers whi¢* Include a Christmas Theatre Trip and regular Wednesday mornin9 Cake and Cuppa
gatherir,gs. The parish website is continually updated viith the late51 information about Churth aclivities and wè usè
our datsbase of coniacls to promole social aotivitiès, worship and information about liiiing the Christian life.

in the Church, and during tarm times, our normal Fridaymass has been held al Becket Keys Secondary School. We have
continued t¢ run the Voice for Life scheme for our choristers and supported our youth through the on-wing St Thomas
Kids Club who perfomi at our Youth Uon¢grts in May and December, cDvering both singing and drama 3tudies.
