Amongst a number of contribullng factors, wore the incom8 rrfeived from the inauguf81 annual dinner not wilhstanding thal11 was Cancelled 4 days bèfore the event. and the introduction of new income $treams following the appolntmeni of new CEO with considerable fundraising experien¢e. in August 2020. During 2020, Jneli¢s' primary focus was to maintain the delivery of our screaning programme through the pandemic to as many young Jewish adults in the UK as possible. A move to a remotely delivgr8d counselling and postal screening service ena￿ed this to successfully happen through the Bamet clinic and the universllies. Schools proved to be a consKlerable ¢h8llen9e wth only 120 schoolchildren being screened bethen Jan and Mar¢h 2020. Despite the pandemi¢. 206 yDung adults were screened In 2020 through the dinic12019..243}. The launch of virtual Untversily s¢reening wegk allowed us lo reach 394 students across 58 different educational cenlres in the UK. Jnolic's efforts in educating the cornmunity about BRCA were severely disrupted in 2020. as the charity was unable lo support the education of gills in schjds through the BYB programme as in previous years.

The first half of 2021 saw the launch of Jnelics, first chalKgnge event. a Patron's supper. and a number of smaller online fundraising events. all well attgnded. all important fa¢tors to the growth of th8 Charity's supporter base. After years of research a new èxpanded panel of 47 conditions is due for launch in October 2021. The pan81 consists of further Conditions prevalent in the Ashkenazi community. logether with a number of conditions preval•nl in th• Sephardi and Mizrachi ¢ommunities. The financial statements have be8n prepared under the historical t))st convention. 1.2 Basls of accounting The financial slalem8nts have been prepared under the historical cost Convantion. 1.3 Incoming Rosources All incoming resources are induded in the statem8nt of financial 8Ctivities when the charlty is entitled to the income and the amount can be quanttfied with reasonable accuracy. 1.5 Fund Accountlng General funds are unrestricted funds which are available for use at the discr8tion of the Trustees In the furtherance of the general objectives of the charity and which have not bean designated for other purposes. Restrlcted funds comprise grants and other income recelved for spending on specified purposes as laid down by the grantor. Designated funds ￿present the net book value of the Charitys assets. 1.6 Flxed assets Tangible fixed assets ar8 stated at cost or valuation less d8preciation. D8preciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost less estimated residual value of 8ach asset OV8r its gxp8¢ted useful life, as follows..
