as a whole|Para 1.20|In 2024 LPBC continued to be sustained in active
engagement with our community through a variety of
settings, groups with growing relationships and
advancement of understanding in the Christian faith.
We have continued to gather and scatter as a
community of believers, worshipping, engaging in
deepening our faith. We have seen a deepening of
faith in many ways this year, through ongoing
relationships in the community, it was a joy to end the
year with a baptism for one of our young people as
they committed to follow Christ.
Many groups have continued in their monthly or
weekly rhythm, from leadership meetings, board
games, gardening, home groups, prayer meetings
and book club.
Our groups for 0-18 year olds thrived this year, with
deepening relationships with carers and toddlers,
some of whom have attended other church events. A
full Friday night youth group (11-14) and Renew
Youth (15-18) continued to provide safe and
supportive spaces where young people have been
able to attend to their well-being.
We followed the liturgical calendar and hosted events
for Easter and Christmas, with a broad range of the
community coming together to eat at Easter. At
Christmas we enjoyed 50+ families gathering to make
Christmas puddings, and exploring what it means to
wait excitedly for Christmas. We held a quiet
Christmas for the first time for those who wanted a
quiet space to reflect.
At the request of our community we held a poignant
baby loss service for those remembering little ones
no longer with us.
At the closing of the year we held a successful Bible
Course. The course was attended by a broad
spectrum of people at different points on their faith
journey, from committed followers to those exploring
who Jesus is. These evenings were rich in discussion
and gave great motivation to continue to read and
understand the Bible more and more.| |||| |---|---|---| |||Alongside these events in February we celebrated a
renewal of vows and a significant wedding
anniversary for a couple who are part of the
community. We celebrated two marriage ceremonies.
The church was awarded Home Mission Funding to
begin in 2025 to aid the church to pay a full stipend to
their minister, ensuring we are able to fulfil our

Responsibllities and basls of report As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('Ihe Act.). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
