Hopefully
next year will provide more opportunities.
Our church is blessed with a large outside space
which allowed us to meet for prayer during August
and September. meetings with the same focus of meeting and praying together. This year we've had a focus on trying to improve our environmental impact as a church. We've been doing this through an organisation called Ecochurch that helped us to assess and gain an understanding of how our church impacts the environment that we live in. Overall we managed to achieve a bronze rank in their system with gold in Worship and Teaching. Alongside our environmental impact we have been looking at how we can support our community during this and the coming years, so we have partnered with Kintsugi Hope. They are an organisation that provides training and group material that enable safe non judgemental space for people to discuss their wellbeing. During periods where restrictions allowed we were able to hire our building out to local community groups. To support our hiring of the building we have had some cleaners that can help us maintain COVID security throughout the building whilst it is in use. Numbers for football training have been consistently around 30 to 35. Since the lockdown in March we utilised a council grant to replace the Sports Hall flooring so that we can better serve our community once things return to normal.
