I report on the consolidated accounts of the St Marf5 Parish. Hinckley, forthe year ended 31. December
2023.

As members of the PCC you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts; you conslder that the
audit requirements of section 14412) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) do not applv.
It is my responslbility to:
Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 act:
To follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commlssion
under section 145{5llb) of the 2011 Act: and
To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

My examlnation was carried out In accordance with the General Directlon5 given by the Charlty
Commission. That examinatlon Includes a review of the accounting records kept by the PCC and a
comparison of the accounts with those records. It also includes considering any unusual items of
disclosures In the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and,
consequently, no oplnion is 8iven as to whether the accounts present a "true and fairview" and the report
Is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examlnerfs statement.
In connectlon with my examination, no matter ha5 come to my attention:
{1) whlch glves me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respett the requirements:
to keep accounting records In accordance wlth Section 130 of the 2011 Art: and
to prepare accounts whlch accord wlth the acmunting records and comply with the
requirements of the 2011 Act
have not been met; or
121 to which, in my opinion, attentlon should be drawn in orderto enable a proper understanding of
the accounts to be reached.
