| 4. | Appointment of Independent Examiner of Accounts The Lay Chair proposed the continued appointment of Peter Ludlow as the Independent Examiner for Financial accounts. Peter Clarke moved to adopt the proposal and Emmanuel Decker seconded the motion. This was accepted unanimously. |

| 5. | Date of 1st PCC Meeting. The Lay Chair proposed the29th of November 2020as the first PCC meeting for the new financial year. Tolu Fayemi moved to adopt, and was seconded by Peter Clarke. |

| 6. | Annual Accounts Tolu Fayemi confirmed that the financial accounts for Holy Trinity Tottenham was signed off by the Independent Examiner on the17th June 2020. He also directed all to the APCM booklet where details of the accounts could be found for review. He encouraged everyone to set up a ‘Standing Order’ for their giving to reduce the admin for our financial activities and to help regularise individual giving even when not present in church. He confirmed that after circa eight months, he and Besrat were finally able to apply and secure payment of circa £9,000 in gift aid payments for the year 2017. Application in progress soon to make claim for 2018 & 2019 taxes. The Fund balance stands for the 31stof December 2019 stands as reflected in the accounts |

A question was raised by a member that he had never seen the Reimbursement
of expenses being detailed by any other organisation anywhere before to which
Tolu responded that he was following the advice given by the Independent
Examiner. He also confirmed that all PCC Members have signed the Conflict
of Interest declaration form.
All present agreed to adopt the Accounts. There were no objections and Peter
Clarke moved the motion to accept the accounts and was seconded by
Christiana Imoukhuede.
7. Reports
All reports were taken as read.
During the considering the Safeguarding a member present interjected to state
that he wished to record an alleged incident. He was asked to report it to the
Safeguarding Officer named in the report as such matter needed to be
discussed in private in the first instance.
It was affirmed that Safeguarding is taken extremely seriously at Holy trinity
Tottenham.
All the reports were adopted with gratitude to all.
Dr Peter Clarke proposed the vote of thanks to all officers and all they have
had to contend with during the Vicars absence and the current pandemic.
The meeting was declared closed at 12.30pm with the Grace said by all.

Electoral Roll Officers Report

It was decided by the PCC that due to the COVID-19 pandemic we would do a mail out to members on the Electoral Roll to check that personal information held were still correct. With the kind help of Dr Peter Clarke this task was successfully carried out and a good response was received enabling update of information held.
I am sure that there are still some parishioners that have not completed the application form to enrol, and God willing, when we reopen after this lockdown I can approach them personally.

ALMA Report
When the first lockdown took place in March 2020, enthusiasm for ALMA had renewed, and we had taken £263 in contributions for 2020, and paid out £20 in prizes, which were paid out in cash.
I had paid in £100.00 to be banked and now hold £114 in cash, of which £100.00 is owed in prizes to ALMA members for 2020, which would leave a balance of £14.00 to carry into 2021.
However, all activity froze in March 2020. I do not hold contact details for members, and so could not pay out prizes. We were hoping to be back in church soon so that normal activity could resume, but of course this did not happen.
Now we are in March 2021 and still in lockdown.
PRIZES:

I could draw the prizes for the last 10 months of 2020 at home, give the names of the winners to the treasurer (?) who could transfer the £10 to them, after an announcement to that effect.

I could suspend the club in March 2020 and resume it in March 2021 and draw a prize every month from now on (of course after an announcement). I could pay in the cash I hold, and the treasurer could pay out the prizes as in (1) above.
Meanwhile the situation in Mozambique is even more dire than it was last year, with not only COVID-19 but also IS terrorism in the north of the country driving a refugee crisis. ALMA continues – 2020 Lent appeal managed to raise £15k for each diocese to buy a truck for moving emergency aid. Our money was sent and the motorbike purchased and acknowledged. We continue to receive updates by email from our twin parish, however for obvious reasons we have not got any further in our ambitions to link the schools. We hope to do this this year.
I could do with advice, particularly from the treasurer, about how to proceed with the club.

Community Liaison Report
Due to pandemic, there has been little happening late last year apart from the Citizens UK walkaround that took place on 3[rd] December 2020. The walkaround was to determine a way forward for the Haringey Citizens. The walkaround was arranged at the Haringey Citizens meeting in November 2020 at which the main issue was the focus on the group that will encourage engagement, and what are the important issues for the Community.

Haringey Deanery Synod Report
Area Dean
Fr Ian Booth, Team Rector of St Michael’s Wood Green has continued as Area Dean.

East Haringey and West Haringey Deaneries were merged from 1[st] July 2020 to form a single Haringey Deanery. Fr Ian Booth has been appointed to be Area Dean of the new Deanery. Meetings of the Deanery Synod

Social Committee Report
Due to the pandemic which saw the introduction of Social Distancing rules in March 2020, the Social Committee was not able carry out its usual operations.
This is highly regretted, but we do pray that these conditions will be history in the very near future and things go back to normal where physical interaction will once again become possible.

Church Warden’s Report
Once again, another church year has come to an end. We are pleased to report on the activities that took place in and out of church over the past year.
Our Sunday and Wednesday services were done mostly online, with the assistance of our broadcast team, who worked tirelessly towards its success. We were able to buy a professional video camera for use in relaying the services from church. We cabled the church for better internet, paid for subscription for Zoom services to ensure we could have longer services. We purchased accessories to facilitate the online services. Donations were received towards these purchases.
We followed government and diocesan guidelines in order to hold in-person services (when permitted) and adhered to all covid 19 protocols. We also purchased related safety materials like hand sanitizers, mask, gloves, defogger, aprons and signage’s for use in the church.
The quinquennial inspection was carried out in the church and old school building this year complying with the four years requirements for inspection, this was conducted by our Architects, Carden & Godfrey Architects. The report had been submitted and we are acting on the recommendations.
The NCC mechanical services continue to maintenance and repair the heating system regularly in the church and in the old school building. The clock is still out of service, due to the current situation in the country. Gillet & Johnston will be contacted in due course. The church continues to maintain its fire regulations policy. A compliance certificate is on display on the notice board at the back of church. We strictly comply with the ‘No Smoking ‘regulations and there are fire extinguishers located at different corners in the church and old school building. The automatic entrance gate was repaired on three separate occasions. We, however, continue to enjoy loyal patronage from our clients.
Our Fr Willis organ project is still on-going. Please don’t forget to ask for support from relatives, friends and well-wishers who might be willing to donate to this fund. The donation envelopes are still available in church. Dr Macgregor, an organ expert, visited the church and inspected the organ. He has given his proposals, which we plan to implement.
The food bank service is up and running, with support from few donors. The number of recipients keeps going up and is well over a hundred each week. Our thanks go to all the members, who gave of their time, week after week to keep it going.
Our thanks to the organists, choristers, lectors, intercessors, florists, broadcast team and organ project committee. Finally, we also would like the entire congregation to join us in thanking God for returning Fr. Bunmi to us after his illness. We acknowledge Fr. Bunmi’s commitment to this parish and his strong resolve to continue to lead us despite still recuperating from his illness. We pray that the Lord continues to bless and protect him.

Food Bank Report
What a year 2020 turned out to be for the Holy Trinity Mothers’ Union, Foodbank which was established in January 2017. No one could have predicted at the beginning of the year, what lay ahead for this vital service, which provides emergency food supplies for the vulnerable. The year had started smoothly but within weeks rumours were rife of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was obvious that a major transformation was needed, to overhaul the existing processes in order to comply with the Government’s Covid-19 guidelines. With the national lockdown on 23[rd] March 2020, immediate changes were needed as most of the Friday volunteers (the pioneers) were no longer available. Also, our collaboration with partner organisations that promote wrap-around services were suspended. It was clear the best option was to switch the service to Saturdays to enable a new pool of volunteers to participate. Thus, with God’s steadfast love and guidance the Saturday foodbank service started from 4[th] April 2020 with a wonderful workforce of the remaining pioneers and new volunteers-predominantly male.
I am proud to report that our church mission in Tottenham was alive and visible as Holy Trinity foodbank remained open throughout the pandemic despite some challenges. The importance of this vital service could not be ignored as sadly we find wider sector of the population now suffer from food poverty. This has led to increased demand for assess to food.

Understandably a lower number of food packages were distributed at the beginning of lockdown and the number quickly rose within a few weeks providing an average of 300 meals to vulnerable people each week; resulting in the team getting recognition from the Mayor of Haringey, Sheila Peacock as one of ‘Haringey’s Heroes’ for it’s hard work supporting locals throughout the pandemic.

Sadly, demand for food is still great so we need donation of long-lasting nonperishable food items and/or cash to buy required supplies.

We also need more volunteers especially car owner/s – to help collect purchases or donations from the stores.

Health and Safety Report
Introduction
The PCC continued its drive to maintain a responsible approach towards Health and Safety and Risk management within the Church and its immediate environment via the Health and Safety Officer during the year 2020.
Covid 19
The PCC has been alive to its responsibilities with regard to Covid 19. All Government and Diocesan guidelines were followed with respect to closure of our physical building when required. Upon the short periods where places of Worship were allowed to open, no effort was spare to ensure this was done safely. The PCC purchase necessary safety material (gloves, hand sanitizers, dispensers, defogger, masks, contactless thermometers, safety tape, and signage). Social distance was strictly observed with preapproval for attendance, spacing between allocated seats and one directional traffic. Signage was provided at strategic points across the entire premises with a manual and digital track and trace options to monitor attendance. Only “One Kind” sacrament was allowed. We continue to review the situation, ensuring all guidelines are followed.
Signage and Emergency Exits and Extinguishers
The emergency exit signage and fire extinguishers across the entire premises were inspected and serviced during the year. This was done by the accredited fire equipment inspectors (EuroFire). The certificate may be viewed on the notice board at the back of the church.
Pest and Rodents Control
Our nominated pest control company (Cleankill) continue to ensure we are not overrun. This has been maintained throughout the year. Incidences of pest sighting remain contained. We continue to urge all to maintain good hygiene standards, making use of the provided bins and of course volunteering for the cleaning of the church and the church premises from time to time.
Conclusion
The intention is to continue to assess the risk elements within the Church and its immediate surroundings and ensure mitigating action is taken to minimize any occurrence that may put any of the parishioner at risk or indeed the building itself.
We encourage the congregation to continue to pay attention to the simple rules and regulations in place to keep us all safe, particularly during this pandemic period and ask that we all remain vigilant in identifying where improvements need to be made and making same known to the Health and Safety Officer.

Men’s Fellowship Report
The past year has been a tough one for everyone, including the church with the ongoing Pandemic. However, Men’s Fellowship continue to be involved in the life of the church in the limited ways that the government rules allow us to.
We continue to be involved in the food bank, we carried out the preparation & decoration of the church for the Christmas celebrations and most of our members are part the Church broadcasting team for the church online services.
Due to the government Covid-19 rules we were unable to carry out our usual activities throughout the year. We are hopeful and prayerful that things will get back to normal soon. We appreciate the continue support, cooperation and prayers of the Vicar and the members of the church at this challenging time.
We join others in praying that God Almighty continue to bless and strengthen us all in fulfilling the aim and mission of the church both in our community here in Tottenham and London as a whole.

Mothers’ Union Report
The past year has been like no other. The Covid-19 pandemic crisis has had a profound effect on us and exposed the deep inequalities within our society. However, in many ways it has shown communities at their best with many offering helping hands through shopping or collecting prescriptions for others.
Mothers’ Union members have played their part such as making scrubs for hospitals or phone calls to the isolated. Here at Holy Trinity, we have played our part in keeping the Food Bank running with the help of The Men’s Fellowship. This is helping to alleviate food poverty within our community.
We have been unable to meet as a branch but joined meetings and services held jointly with other Mothers’ Union branches either as a diocese or as a deanery.
Membership stands at 17.

Organ Fundraising Committee Report
The Organ Fund stands at £50,436.46 in cash plus a promise of £5,000 from the Sabina Sutherland Charitable Trust when the project gets under way. All our normal fundraising activities have been interrupted by the pandemic.
The Organ Sub-committee held one meeting by Zoom.
We appointed an independent, Organ Consultant, Dr William McVicker BA PhD LRAM ARCO Hon FIMIT Hon ARAM. Dr McVicker is Organ Curator, Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall, London (from 1999); Organs Adviser to the Cathedrals Fabric Commission for England (CFCE), since 2011; Organs Adviser, Diocese of Southwark (from1992); Chairman Association of Independent Organ Advisers (AIOA) since 2001; Professor of Organology, Royal Academy of Music, London since 2003.
Dr McVicker was able to visit the church in November 2020 to carry out a physical inspection of the organ. This inspection included a detailed inspection of the interior of the organ. Our organ was constructed by John Gray in 1835 but enlarged by Henry Willis, it is thought, in 1859. Additional work was carried out in the 1950s by Mander Organs.
Dr McVicker concludes that the heritage value of the organ is high. Our organ is

As such this marks the instrument out as a rare example of the combined work of Gray and Willis.
Dr McVicker will be presenting an updated version of the report later in the year. This will allow him to present a version of his report including details of the work carried out Work was carried out by Mander Organs. This company is now in liquidation but its files have been saved. If the file relating to the work on our organ is amongst those saved, Dr McVicker will be able to get full details in an updated version of the report. Needless to say, this verification has been delayed by the pandemic.

West Window
The West Window is badly in need of conservation or replacement. It abuts the organ case and has been the cause of some ingress of water into the organ case.
The West Window Project must be ready to be installed before the organ conservation work started on site. The organ will have to be dismantled and taken to our chosen organ builder’s workshop. This will give the opportunity to carry out the West Window Project from the inside of the church. Otherwise the work would have to be carried out entirely from the outside with the organ in place.
A meeting was held by Zoom with our Quinquennial Architect. Arising from this meeting a report on four options will be received by the PCC.
If at all possible the window will be used to be representative of the black history of our church and community. If you would like to get involved with the ‘black history’ project please contact me.

Organist’s Report
The pain of losing Marian to Covid is still very raw to all of our members. I still find it difficult to accept and to adjust our music without her. Marian was not only an energetic and outgoing member of the choir, but cared deeply for each chorister and invested her time and energy in aiming for the highest standards amongst all of us and for the liturgical music that we offer.
The past year has been, of course, extraordinary in itself, and the uncharted situation that we find ourselves in mean that we have to react to whatever the current restrictions allow for.
I am pleased that the choir has been able to play a part in both of the Christmas and the Easter services and hopefully we can build on this in the weeks ahead - it is fortunate that many of us help out at the food bank on a Saturday!
The other casualty of the 'lockdowns' has been the organ which when left unattended acquires a mind of its own - short and long term we cannot afford to take our eye off that particular ball.
There is not yet a ‘finishing line’ when everything will be back to ‘normal’, but the choristers will be ready to serve whenever that time arrives - my grateful thanks, as always, to JD for the strength of his support, and to all of the choristers for their patience and continued commitment in what has been and still continues to be uncertain times.

Safeguarding Officers Report
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) continues to follow the policy and guidance on Safeguarding as outlined in the Safeguarding Policy and Practice guidance.
All volunteers working with children are selected and trained in line with Safer Recruitment principles, including the use of criminal records disclosures and registration with the relevant vetting and barring schemes through Disclosure and Barring Service.
The church’s safeguarding policy is based on promoting a safer environment and responding promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation.
This safeguarding policy also applies to those hiring our church buildings or church hall for activity that involves children, young people or vulnerable adults.
I am happy to report that there are no reported safeguarding concerns for this year and that the PCC has complied with the duty to have due regard to the House of Bishops Safeguarding Policy and Practice Guidance.

We continue to encourage all givers to consider using the standing order option. This helps our admin and budgeting process, as we will be able to forecast revenue over a period of time and hence plan better. It also helps the giver to ensure their giving is consistent regardless of whether they are physically present in church.

Holy Trinity Sunday School Report
We are grateful to God for seeing us through the past year. A year in which the pandemic taught us to do things differently. With services moving online to zoom, our regular attendee numbers have been maintained with a core group of about 20 on average. The children are becoming more confident and competent, and their understanding of the scripture continues to grow.
The Sunday school is fortunate to have six regular volunteers’ leaders, our thanks to Ije, Ngozi, Blessing, Susan, and Besrat, for their commitment and steadfastness over the past year, and we continue to pray for more people to step up.
The annual end of year summer party was cancelled due to the pandemic, the children continue to play an active role during the monthly family service which occurs once a month on zoom, the children continue to be involved, typically reading, and leading the prayers. The team leaders use ‘Roots’ and ‘Living Stones’ as the structure for all the teaching and both sources have been extremely useful to the children.
The Nine Readings and Carol Service and children’s Christmas party in December remains popular and the involvement of children has become an annual event. Due to the Pandemic, we watched videos of previous year’s performance
Going forward, we need to provide Youth service for the 12/13+ age group, who are missing out (especially post confirmation). For this to happen, we need more volunteers and more importantly, we also need volunteers to step up to formal leading roles. Specifically, we require

The foundation we lay for them provides a firm platform from which to launch themselves as contributing member of our congregation and community at large and ensures Holy Trinity’s continued relevance in Tottenham, bringing hope, faith, love and succour to all within its boundaries and beyond.

– Executive Headteacher Report to the PCC April 2021
Holy Trinity CE Primary School update
I am delighted to be able to report to the PCC that Holy Trinity CE Primary School continues to make improvements in all aspects of school life. Over the last twelve months we have navigated our way through the challenges of the pandemic holding on to our Christian Values, Koinonia, Hope and Service.
We have had to redesign how children have learnt during the partial closures of the school in March and then again in January. Children and staff have adapted from face to face learning to learning via the internet and virtual meetings. While we were very responsive during the first lockdown to provide online activities, demo lessons via twitter, during the second lockdown we upskilled the children’s and staff IT literacy to enable three to four live lessons a day.
Many of our families do not have laptops or ipads at home and so from September the business team and Executive Headteacher applied to various charities to be able to purchase load equipment. So in January we were able to ensure that every child was connected and could join their teacher and classes in live online lessons.
The table above shows the number of children in each class and then the number of children we managed to get on line learning via live lessons each week during the second lockdown.
During these times we have also keep the school open as a safe space for vulnerable children and the children of key workers, including the Easter holiday and May half term in 2020. During these time we were also able to maintain the Felix market for families who need additional food.
The staff have been amazing responding to the call to service of our community and being agile in the way that we have worked.
The school has also continued to receive great support from the church and for which we would like to thank the members of the PCC and the congregation. Being held in the prayer and thought of the congregation has given us strength that we are all ‘stronger together’, and more recently in be able to host the Felix market during the Easter holiday.

I am so proud of the children and staff who have worked together to improve our church school and I hope that you will join us in celebrating these awards.
Staffing
At the start of this year we welcome new staff to strengthen our teaching and learning team:
Mrs Hannah Bush has returned to the school after her maternity leave to once again lead the school as Head of School.
We also welcome Ms Emily Lister during her first year of teaching.
Apart of the above changes our staff has remind constant and committed to the school.
Despite the current teacher shortage and the challenges that this is facing London schools, the school remains fully staffed through our partnership recruitment with St Ann’s and St Michael’s.
School and Church Partnership
The school continues to receive support from our school and church partnership. Fr Bunmi. Fr Bunmi has provided recorded collective worship for the children and staff to take part in at school and planned Holy Week learning activities with senior leaders of the school.
Each half term we focus on one of our Christian Values and each week we have a thought, bible reading and prayer.

We have missed reading with the church volunteers this year. We look forward to lockdown measure being reduced so that we can welcome volunteers back in to school to read with the children again.
Premises
We have been able to make further improvements to the school premises.
We continue to be supported by the Grieg Foundation who has approved additional funding bids to improve our outside learning and play environment. Most recently we have created a ‘Forces’ area in the enclosed playground and we have plans for a ‘Tranquil garden’ in the playground.
The school still has a challenge of reduced funding from the government and also impacted on the reduction of children attending the school. So we continue to benefit form our Tri school partnership with St Ann’s and St Michael’s. Also we are embarking on a market project to see how we can raise the profile of the school in the local community and increase the number of children who come to the school.

PCC Secretary’s Report.
The PCC continued to meet for meetings online via Zoom because of the Covid 19 pandemic. All relating social distancing and lockdown measures remained in place. throughout 2020 to date.
As a result, the APCM in the pandemic was held back until October 2020, just six months
ago and which our Vicar Fr Bunmi was incapacitated.
He is currently on a gradual return from sick leave as of November 2020 and shielding under the social distancing rules.
The PCC has had three virtual Zoom meetings, plus one Emergency meeting to discuss conflict matters about a church member since the APCM back in October 2020.
The Church is matching on, and to God be the Glory.

Vicar's Report 2021
2020 - the year of the COVID-19 pandemic - has been a genuinely annus horribilis. In the interests of public health, we have had to shut the parish church building (daily, Sundays to Friday's) for much of the year.
Through the year, we remained, by God's grace, a church at prayer and in service of the common good of our parish. We lived and acted in response to God's precious gift of faith and supported each other in practical ways.
My profound GRATITUDE goes to all who helped to sustain the life of this parish. In various ways (visible and invisible), you supported our public worship. I also thank all those (including our children) who made our online worship experiences both holy and spiritually absorbing.
Special thanks go to the Broadcast Team, who have worked hard (individually and collectively) to impose both expertise and order on our virtual services.
Through it all, our Choir remained a glorious feature of our worship. The choristers matched their calling with courage, borne of our faith after He taught us to serve and not seek reward. Thank you for bringing us the magic of Christmas at a live Carol Service that matched those we have always enjoyed in the pre-Covid era.
We have had to shape our response to our community's needs through the horror of 2020. Who would have thought that a group of 'weekend loving family men' would be the backbone to the primary feature of our community engagement efforts through this pandemic?
The Men's Fellowship Group worked with a dedicated team of the Holy Trinity Mothers' Union Foodbank Service to ensure that it remained open throughout 2020 to distribute food parcels on Saturdays.
Thank you for making our parish visible and relevant to our community throughout the year of lockdowns and heightened food poverty. Like all frontline workers, you made, by your volunteering, a worthy sacrifice.
It is important to note that we received generous grants from London Community Response towards food parcels distributed at the Foodbank Service. This is, of course, the Lord's doing, and it remains marvellous in our eyes. Nevertheless, I would like to record the debt of gratitude we owe to 'Toyin for helping to put together bids for the grants.
All these do not diminish the significance of the generous donations of food items from members of the congregation and ecumenical friends to the Foodbank Service.
On a personal level, please (in deference to social distancing rules) let me offer every one of you a virtual warm hug .

I offer it to thank you for, yet again, looking after my family and me following my Stroke in August.
Thank you to the churchwardens for encouraging prayers, arranging cover at Services, keeping programs running and securing the church's fabric during my absence.
I bless God for good progress on my journey to health.
My gratitude also goes to Tunde Akinlotan for his leadership of the PCC and the hosting of the Annual Church Meetings last October. The Organ Committee's Report to the second of those meetings contains encouraging accounts of progress on the journey to refurbish both the Organ and the West Window.
I commend all the Reports to this year's meetings to you as highlights of their authors' stewardship and as measures of our everyday life as a parish.
However, limiting the year 2020 has been, I ask you to read every Report as saying to us: Let's keep thanking God for each other. Let's continue to nourish in each other a steady response to God's mission and call to share with others the good news of God's resurrection power. Let us continue to pool together to bear witness to the compelling story of our faith and God's loving plan of salvation to this parish and beyond. Let's remind ourselves, daily, that we can, by the grace of God, be the people we aspire to be: A Community of Faith, Hope, and Love. This God has been generous to us in the past and (we trust) will continue to do so today, tomorrow and forever. Amen.
Finally, let us pray that, soon, we can all gather again for worship in the church building dedicated to the name and style of the Triune God. Then we shall mourn those we have lost and celebrate the many blessings we have received at God's hands in 2020.
