Activities
We support individuals with learning disabilities to play an active role in the community through partaking in life skills activities.Wigan STARS supports the training of our volunteers and members in first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, equality and diversity amongst many others.We undertake a large variety of activities in both leisure & educational purposes within the local community.
Objects: 1 The Relief For The Public Benefit, Of People With Learning Disabilities And Their Carers, Dependants And Families By Provision Of Facilities For Respite, Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Enhancing Their Quality Of Life2 The Advancement Of Education And Training Of People With Learning Disabilities And Their Carers, Dependants And Families In Particular, But Not Exclusively, To Develop Their Work And Life Skills By Developing, Delivering And Evaluating Accessible Learning Opportunitiess
