the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church- pastoral, evangelistic. soual and ecumenical.
A5 the Parish is now in vacanty, it is in the care of the Rural Dean. RevereTrd Lorna Br3￿"￿-5rnIIh. who has overall
responsibility. The parish has a mlni5try team, comprising h¥0 ￿tIred dergy. Reverend Susan Williams la co-opted

Lay Minlster51. Sheila Glll, who had 8lven manyyears. service to the parish as a Lay Minister, had to res18n. due to ill

The PCC has final respon5itslity for the church hall at the Cat Walk, Navenby Icart and o¥ersl8ht dele8ated to
Navenby Vllla8e ch￿r(h Committee IVCCI and the sch(￿ room at Temple Bruer (care and overslght delegated to
Temple Bnjer VCCI.

and advertise a pattern of seryices across the churches, and tts encourage people of all a8e5 to develop ihelr
knowled8e of and trnst in God; to provide pastoral care where required. and to en8a8e in mission and outreach work.
To lacilitate thls. it is irnponant that the fabric of the six churches and the church halls are maintained. lo irnprove
access, and to enco¥ra8e community involvement e.g., by makln8 fundraisin8 events open and enjoyable for thost
who are not r*gular members of the con8re8ation.
The PCC alms to make the church a safe and welc¢)ming place for membeft and vis1t0￿, and to ensure that those havin8

A(fvertisin8 Edlior, and Sarah Holt Editor. 2023 saw sorne members of the ton8regaiion from various Churches In
the parish, continuing to be inv(Aved by wllling intere5tin8 articles for the ma8azine.
The Pa¥ish web51te 15 an essential resource for the parish and Is administered by Carol Daman-willems. The parish
websiie provide5 a re8ular update of servites. social events. and documents can also be downloaded from it.
The Parish Facebook. The Partsh Facebook is now running smoothly and is administered by Reverend
Stuart Foster.

Outreach. Tea@3, a collaborative effort by All Salnts, Church, Wellingore, Wellin8ore Wl and the
Wellingore Parish Council, continLFed throughout 2023. providin8 afterrthn tea for the lonely and isolated.

PCC rneets four times a year. as well as the Annual Report and Accounts Meeiin& followed by ihe Annual Parochlal
Church Meeting approxlmately a month later. VCCS continue to report to ihe PCC on activities. hopes.

continued during 2023. As we now only have two lay ministèrs. there is a limit to what services they are
avallable for. The Parish continues to be txlremely 8ratefvl for th•r skill and 8eneros1ty ITh dellvering
accomplished leadership in worship and pastoral cafe.
The Deanery Synod held three meetings thrtsjghout 2023. Although thefe wefe reguSar updates at eaih ol ihe meetlngs
on a Time to Change Together 1￿CTI. the first meeting was dedicated to thi5. At the second meetin& eleclions were
held for Diocesan Synod representative5. as well as election of the Deanery Synod Standine Committee. The third
meeting concentrated on'growlng the churth You￿e￿ with presentatTrons on all age worship at a café church. and messy
church.

A group of famllies took part Posada durfw the month of De￿rnbel. There was a short seryice at Wellln8ore Church
on Christmas Eve morning to weltomè thè arrival of thè Posada.

for all ¢h￿e involved in the production and distribution of the Graffoe Llnk Magazlne. Tea, coffee and a selection of cake$

The World Day of Prayer In 2023 was led by and held In Navenby Methodist Churth.

have due regard to the House ot 8lshops 8uidance on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults). The Rural Dean and
Parlsh Safegvarding Officer. supported by the PCC. undertook to tontiTrually impr¢)ve pr￿dUreS and raise awareness of
the nature and importance of the sate8uarding of the vulnerable amongst the wider churth community. D85 clearance
