The Amen Comer Trust is an independent charity sel up by Declaration of Trust on 27 October 2009. The
Trust's objects are lo advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public both in the United Kingdom and
Wortdwide.

Activities
In 2023 the Trust has continued to receive generous donations to be used for the objects of the Trust, lo
advance the Christian faith. Trustees have responded to grant applications to support staffing costs at St
Nicholas Church Tooting. The Iruslees have reaffirmed the longer-lemi intention of building up reserves lo fvnd
larger capital project, such as a property purchase with long term value in advancing the Christian faith in the
Tooting area.
The trustees plan the actNities of the Trust with due regard lo the public benefit guidance published by the
Charity Commission.

The accounts on page 2 have been examined by Mr Edward Berkeley a qualified accountsnt, independent of
the twslees.
Responslbilities of trustees
Charity law requires us as Trustees to prepare financial statements for each a￿o￿ntIng year which record the
receipts and payments of the charity for the year.
We are responsible for keeping proper accounting records whi¢h d15close with reasonable accuracy al any lime
the financial position of the charity and enable us lo ensure that the financial ststements comply with the
Charities Act 2011.
We also have a responsibility to safeguard the assets of the charity and to take reasonable steps to prevent
fraud or any other irregularib'es.
