This has been an extraordinary yeardue to lockdowns assoclated wlth the COVID 19 pandemicwith income and costs
decreasing compared to 2019.

As we have heard of late. It Is said sooften, 'wE lfve In strarige times, and that of course has trts effect on the church
communlty too. We have had pe￿0d$ where we have d05ed the church totally and other tlmes when we have had to Ilm
numbers. not been able tosln& share the pea￿ in the ￿5￿3] way ordistribute wine. And of course. wearfngface masks has
been a'musy also. We have fa￿d challefi8es. butthere has also been the opportunityto fethink what we do and how we
do k. The obvious example being cornmunicatlng on-llne whlch means we can reach a wider audien￿ a$ opposed to just
our regular church congregation.
The Internet and especially'zoom, has played an Im￿rtant part in keepin8 the church famlly connected. se￿I(e$ and
sermons and Yhou8ht for the dav have all been vital (Dmponent5. We rnanaged to hold ftve fea-nme services In thyrch.
including a Christingle which was well received bythe farnilies. Trying to hold a Pet Servlce on-llne proved mo

Finances are always a concern but with a good n¥mber of people belng part of the Partsh Giving Scheme or maklng regular
donations- this has helped us flnan¢iallv.
Churches Together has coniinued lo meeton-llne and we have been able to share ideas and coTrtlnue to plan forTruYo and
It future.
Overall, members of the congregation and the wider Parlsh haveworked hard and pulled iogetherto keep the church
'allve'. It has not ahvays been easy. b￿t my thanks 80 Out to everyone forthelr contlnuin8 efforts dur)n8what have been
espeoally difficult times.
