October Treasurer’s report for the Destiny Rebuilders charity for the financial year, 1[st] 2024 – 30[th] September 2025
OVERALL
This year has been great for the charity with a big increase in donations, of over £10,000 more than last year. We are also happy to report that there has been an increase from other sources of income, of over £9000. This is a great improvement from last year where we had £0 from other sources.
This year our income in total has exceeded £30,000.00 leaving us in surplus after expenses. Most of the money has been used for projects in Rwanda for the support of the children and children’s home.
We are happy that both the children’s home purchased a few years ago and the children themselves, are both doing well, and the home still stands strong. As the income has increased this year, the charity has been able to help the children on a greater capacity without going into deficit.
Overall, we are happy that the accounts remain healthy, with a steady stream of income from our faithful doners, as well as some contributions from one off contributors and other sources of income. We really appreciate everyone who gives and most of all, we praise God for all he has done for the charity.
We believe that next year, the income will continue to increase, and we will be able to grow as a charity to do more work with the children in Rwanda.
