Section C Objectives and activities
The Objects of the Group shall be to educate the public in the operatic, dramatic and light choral arts; to further the development of public Summary of the objects of the appreciation and taste in said arts, and to encourage local talent in the charity set out in its governing document performance of said arts. Presentation of fully-staged shows and concerts, to introduce members of the public to a wide range of musical entertainment and musical styles. MAIN SOCIETY Fully staged productions of ‘Me and My Girl’ and ‘Rent’
‘Me and My Girl’ was nominated in the Best Musical category in National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA) Eastern Region District 6.
YOUTH SECTION (WLOG Rising Stars) Fully staged productions of ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Here We Go Again!’. ‘Peter Pan’ was nominated in the Best Youth Production and Best Technical categories in National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA) Eastern Region District 6.
