The Objects of the Group shall be to educate the public in the operatic, dramatic and light choral arts; to further the development of public **Summary of the objects of the** appreciation and taste in said arts, and to encourage local talent in the **charity set out in its governing document** performance of said arts. ## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

**MAIN SOCIETY** 

Fully staged productions of ‘Made in Dagenham’ and ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ 

‘Made in Dagenham’ won the award for Best Musical in National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA) Eastern Region District 6 and was also nominated for Best Overall Production. 

‘Little Shop of Horrors’ was nominated for Best Technical Award in National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA) Eastern Region District 6. 

**YOUTH SECTION (WLOG Rising Stars)** 

Fully staged productions of ‘The Addams Family’ and ‘That’s Life!’. 

‘The Addams Family’ won the award for Best Youth Production in National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA) Eastern Region District 6 and was also nominated for Best Overall Production. 

A Rising Stars cast member won Best Young Performer in NODA District 6 for her portrayal of Alice Beineke.
