Falmouth and Gwenna Methodist Circuit Poli of Circuit Financial Reserves The trustees of Methojist organisations must be accountable for all the money that comes into their hands. The general aim of any charity must be to expend those funds for the purposes of the chanty. rnther than to hoard them for some unspecffied future purpose. Money that comes in for a specffic purpose is reix)rded as Restricted Funds. This may only be spent for the PUTpose it was given. These are noted in the general fund and transferred to ￿ Central Finance Board Account rf and when appropriate. We have endowments and the money from the sale of Lanner, Mawnan, Penryn, Camkie, Flushing and Treverva held in the Circuil Model Trust Fund (Fonnedly Circuit Advance Fund) The other money is the General Fund. known as the Current Account. As a general rule we will endeavour to keep six months expenditure in our reserves and this money will be kept in the Central Finance Board Account. This is to be used if we have an emergency and we do not have enough in our general account to pay the bills. This policy is to be approved and adopted by the cir￿11 Meeting of the Falmouth and Gwennap Methodist C. rcuit on 9th December 2025 Signed Rev Jonathan F Chair
