**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF  THE  AREA MEETING IS THE FURTHERANCE OF THE GENERAL RELIGIOUS AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE RELIGIOUS SOCIETY OF FRIENDS (QUAKERS) IN BRITAIN IN THE AREA OF THE LANCASHIRE CENTRAL AND NORTH MEETING AND BEYOND.

**Activities:** Holding of public meetings for worship and other events; providing meetings for children and young persons; maintaining Meeting Houses and religious burial grounds; raising awareness and understanding of religious beliefs and practices; publication of newsletters for members and attenders; financial collections at our Meetings for Quaker objectives; and participation in Quaker Week events
