Voluntsry gfving at St John's. the PCC'S main source of irKome Itrwher w￿h Gift Aid tax recob*redl. showed a small ncrease over the income In 2023. In addr¢ion. a Gift Day at St John's raised around £30,(AXJ. and because of these addtfional donaiions, iogwher wth the Income from the Church Cent￿. the PCC was able to achieve all Its finaniial tar8ets. The financial impact of Christ Churth Gfeenbank ka¥in8 the Parish is m￿lm￿. Also In 2024. received the legacy from ihe sale of Ruth Port's house t*hlch amouffled to £257,fm. Just before she died, Ruth vtrbally told Aev. Mike Smith. that shè wouhl like around IO% of the sale protteds io bt used to pay off somt of the loan capital on the Church Centre. The PCC lo decide on how this legw is to be allotated and the rn0￿ remalns n the PCC'S bank account. In addition to the large legacy. the PCC received interest free loans of E65.(DJ to be ￿paid as a lump sum after 6 years.
