## **Objectives and Activities** 

The charity exists to support the local Afghani Shia community in Southampton by providing a centre for worship, education and cultural activities, promoting community cohesion and social welfare, and supporting charitable, religious and educational activities within the community. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

During the year, the charity successfully continued to provide religious and educational programme, supported cultural and social events. We made a good and prominent progress in the reconstruction project of our Community Centre. 

## **Financial Review** 

Income: £88,947 (2023: £78,425) Expenditure: £19,937 (2023: £37,684) Net Surplus: £69,009 (2023: £116,109) Net Assets at Year End: £863,811 (2023: £794,802) 

## **Plans for Future Periods** 

The charity plans to expand educational and youth engagement programmes, maintain and improve the community building, and continue fundraising to support loan repayments and long-term financial sustainability. 



## **Reserves Policy** 

The trustees aim to hold sufficient reserves to cover at least six months of running costs and loan repayments, ensuring resilience against unexpected funding gaps.
