extremely grateful lo all Its volunteers wthout whom the Churches would not be able to operate
Objectives and Activitles
The Parish of Milton's PCC has the resp0ft5ibilty of co-operating wrth the ineumbenl. The Revd AndTew Bailey until
is retirement on the 20th May 2023 Since his retirement. the Churchwardens have taken on this role In promoting
in the Parish the whole mission of the Church. pastoral. evangelical, s￿131 and ecumenical. This upholds the
vision as expressed in the logo Serwng - Worshipping - Belonging - Growing. It also has the oversight of the
activities of the Chuich comrnittees to whom responsibilty has been devofved.
Achlevements and Perfommnce
Church attendance
At the 31 St Decembei 2023 there are a total of 126 parishioners on the Church Electoral Roll, of whom 6 are not
iesident within the Parish", 8 name5 were reTr￿ved as erther now deceased or rrKwed away from the Parish and
there have been 1 addltions. The average weekly attendance. counted during October, VRS 76 adults and O
Children.

Rgview ol the Year
The full PCC met 6 times in 2023 with an average attendan￿ 90%. Rel￿$ from St Mary Magdalene's, St
Pelerfs and St John the Baptist Churches were ￿￿1Ved by the full PCC and discussed wherg necessary.
Worship in all three Churches has continued wrfhout any ofthe restn¢t￿n$. Lay assistants have resumed
administering the wine forcommunth.
P8rish Lent lunches have taken place and wern well altend8d.
Teams of trained lay people have not resumed. Baptssms are tah.ng place on an individual bas￿. Ministry
of Welcome and Pastoral Care continuès.
Monday Group. continues to n￿et on tho ￿ Monday of e8ch monlh 8t 2.30pm.
Pop-in Coffee mornings held on th8 last ThuTr*ay of each month oMts'nu8 to Ilourish with very
attendances oflocal reS￿entS and Membe￿ oflhe congTrgations.
M$ssy Church in the Parish Church t￿tInU&S. The Lady Chapelprowd8s spac8 and acfvity opportunAIi8s
for children and they all enjoy a meal logethef in th8 Church Hall. Messy Church has a Facebook page

Th8 Pansh OffKe is open on Monday- Ffftlay from 10 - 12noon, staffed by voluntèers from across the
P8nsh,' but more help8ts are requwgd.
The Parish Website is well accessed and is a V81uable s￿rGe of inlomation,. the address is
www.miltonparish.org. All forthcoming events arn listed.
A Fund Raising Group has organis8d several events duiing the year to contn'bute to the cost of extensive
repaifs lo all th￿ Churcb&s.
Financial Review
Total receipts on ordinary unrestrKted funds were £107.481 as a￿ d&lai18d in the Financial Statemenl.
The cost of providing the Chnstian Ministry from the Pansh of Milton. In¢luding the contribut￿n to the
Diocesan Pansh Share was £129134.
The Parish continues to rely on Legacy income fo cover ¢osts. This is 8 ¢aus& of great Goncem and is
kèy focus for thought. prayer andpractiC81 inrtiatives lor 2024.
Inve8tment Pollcy
The PCC has chosen a balanced ethical approach wrfh t)nly medium risk. the PCC has no investment al
this time.
Reserves Policy
The PCC would like to wodt towards a srtuation where funds Gould be set aS￿e fo cover at least three
n70nths ongoing general expenditure ol the Pansh ond prov￿8 a fund for immediate usa in the event of
PanshnocaLlnationaffinlemational disaster.
Risks Policy
The PCC has used the £30.(x￿ legacygifts received in 2014 for m8Nrapair W￿￿$ to the Pansh Church
walls.
The PCC will continue to work towarijs a wtuation Whe￿ fun(ts ￿Uld be set a&de to coverthree months
ongoing general expenditur8 of the Parish and to be available for use in the event of
Pansh/Iocal/n8t￿￿aIlIntematiOnaI disaster.
