As of 31st Auiust 2024, the funds held In cvrrent •ccounts and the MTF were £987k Thls eguates to about 25 months of expendlture. Manses Review The circult currently has slx houses of which five are occupied by ministers (four Presbyters and a Deacon l employed by the Methodist Churth. The drcuit has used the proceeds of these sales to facilltate the purchase of 5 Puddin8 Lane the Patterdown development as part of our outreach and mis51on focus. Thi5 is a New People New Ploces incentiwe bein8 led by Oistrict. 121 Swindon manses There are three manses In Swbnd¢)n and no chan8es are experted ID the next 2*36 morths. One15 being kept as an Investment property and Is prlvatrty let and IMO are Il¥ed In by mlnlsters. It is unlikely that the circuit ministèrial team will increase above the current five mln15ters. It Is more likely that numbers wll decrease wlth the ctrcuit lookin8 to ernploy lay workers to cover the Shortfall. Church bulld1r￿S Sherston The church was sold In March 2024. Luckin8ton The church was 50bd in March 2024. Churth governance In June 2024 the Clrcuit meetln8 approved the Dissolution of the single congregation LEP at Dorcan There15 5t511 a de51re to remaln ecumenlcal and to welcome other denominations as well as usln8 literev Sn the Methodlst tradition but the Church wlll no longer be an An8lltanlMethodist LEP. The Dorcan churches (5t Paul'5 and St fimothy'sl wlll become part of a Local EoJmenlcal co-operètS¥e scheme wlth the Lead Partner belng the Church of England. Cental Church.
