In determining the charity's activities the trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. Achievements and Performance During the year under review the charity made 15 grant payments to institutions totalling £96,600 as set out in the notes. Financial Review At the end of the reporting period the charity had free reserves amounting to £23.135 {2022-. £41,036). In addition to the free reserves the charily has bank balances of £16.455 (2022.. £36,379) and inveslment assets of £1,539.389 {2022'. £1,444,115) within the expendable endowment fund. The trustees pursue a policy of maintaining a free reserve available to be spent in the furtherance of the charity's objectives. as well as covering future needs, opportunities. contingencies and risks. At the end of the reporting period the charity had free reserves amounting to £23,13512022: £41.036}.
