The promotion of military efficiency by the provision of social, sporting and other facilities for the benefit of Servicemen and women. Esprit de corps and team work is promoted by enabling serving Mess members to mix together in both formal dining situations and informal social activities so as to help keep service traditions alive and encourage the well being of the mess community.
Objects: The charity's object (the object) is 'the promotion of efficiency of the armed forces of the Crown by the provision and support of facilities and activities for the efficiency and well-being of service personnel'.
