**Objects:** THE OBJECTS ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE FIELD OF GEOLOGY AND TO PROMOTE RESEARCH IN GEOLOGY AND ALLIED SCIENCES, MORE SPECIFICALLY IN AND AROUND THE BARNSLEY, DONCASTER, ROTHERHAM, PEAK DISTRICT AND SHEFFIELD CITY REGION OF ENGLAND, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY ORGANISING GUIDED GEOLOGICAL WALKS, INCREASING THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF EARTH SCIENCES, GEOLOGY, GEOMORPHOLOGY, GEODIVERSITY AND LANDSCAPE, EXHIBITIONS AND DISPLAYS AND PROMOTING THE RECORDING AND CONSERVATION OF SITES OF GEOLOGICAL INTEREST.

**Activities:** The Sheffield Area Geology Trust includes the South Yorkshire RIGS Group and the Sheffield Building Stones Group.Activities include education and geological conservation linked to geodiversity and landscapes, mostly within the area around Sheffield, including South Yorkshire and Peak District, north Derbyshire and north Nottinghamshire.
