Business of the PCC In
In thè Covid-19 pandemic people wer8 riqhyy reluctsnt ¢0 meet In person and PCC rn88tsngs we held by Zoom. The Zoom fomat
wa$ not easy lor everyone, not everyone ha8 a computer and mobile phones are less than ideal lor Zoom meet'ngs. In these truly
exp*ption81 circumstsnL%S St Dunstan only h81d tsvo fomal PCC meeting5, hoKever th8r8 were very r8gul8r meedngs between the
Rector and Wardens particularty regarding Covid-19 precautions in Ghurch. St Dut15tan's w88 fortune to have virologist as
Churchwarden In the person of Dr Dan Forb&s-Ford. St Dunstan's Cowid-19 prs¢autions wère GarefiJlly monitored and changed
qulckly in response to the pandemic. Thanks to our Govid-19 prec2utiorts we not aware of anyone who caught Co￿d-19 in church
in 2021.
So durir¥J 2021 the PCC di5CU5sed Open Hou88 Weekend and how we mlght minimlse risks to wsitcrfs whilst still k8eplng thè
church open forthis important annval event We discussed St Dunstan's Annuai Art Exhibition.. it's theme and the practical
arraroernent5 needed for the exhibition to take place. The PCC al80 discussed wharo we might make our usual charitable
donatyons during 2021 and distributed £2.200 to the Mkjwlfes Charity in 8arKJladesh, Stepney City Farm and the ￿re of Dun8tan
the donkey, th8 Street children tharSty in Sao Paolo Brazil run by the local ATrJlican Cathedral and a loeal Nursery School for
childron with d￿abIlItIeS. Tha PCC also discussèd the EpY8copal Area bid for Central funding of local church plants and deaded
upon a strategy. The PCC was updated on progres5 with the Development Plan. The PCC approved the annual budget an¢J
received reports forth8 staff and PCC offi(￿rS.
Th8 PCC also discussed the CO￿1￿19 related dovmturn in gmng, donabons and sales of things like candles and rec8ived an upt
d8ts report on the finantss. We discussed th8 whole subject of Mission in our parish and a donation frorn the Pemberton B8mes
Charity to enable a now youth orÈnted'fresh exkyession, in our parish. Th8 PCC decide to become corpor81e member5 oftha
Prayer Book Soraety after d8bating tt)e issue. The PCC rec8ived a r8POrt on th8 excel￿nt work of the food bank and noted tha
goc* work il was doing for tke local ¢ommunity the growth in nurnb8rs, volunteers arKI tunding. Tho PCC discuss*l the Quean'8
Platinum Jubi18e and approved plans to hold a Big Lunch Is (x)operats"on with local community groups. Th8 PCC di$¢u$sed L Tring
in Lovs and Faith and the Shandy Street DevelopmenL Every meeting of the PCC had 5afeguardSno on the agenda and PCC
