The trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 5 April 2025.
Objectives and Activities

The objects for which the Cha￿tY Is estsblished Is to further or promote such Charltsble purpose or purposes as the Trustees
shall from time to time think fit.
Public Benefit
The Trustees confirm that they have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Comrnission's general guidance on
public benefit when reviewing the FoundatiQn'5 aim5 and objectives and in planning future activitie5.
The trustees confirm that they have cornplied with the requ1￿ments of Sectiofi 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due
regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit.
Achievements and Performance
Maln A¢hlevement$
Grnnts were approved and are detailed in the accounts. The trustees are pleased to continue with supporting their chosen
charities. The Charity ha5 SUPPOrted a large nurnber of Charities again this year which is very gratifying for the trustees.
The Charity continues to support a variety of institutions with a keen inierest and Focus on supporting local charilies. The
team continues to work closely with a number of local charities supporting them in very difficult times. We alway5 work with
thern to understand their work and gain a better understanding and appreciation of the amazing work they carry out, along
with the challenges they face.
The Trustees Continually seek suitable recipients for grants. The Trustees are satisfied with the performance of the
Foundation during the year and will continue to apply the Foundation's funds for charitable purposes.

Structure Governance and Management
Governing Document
The Anthony and Patricia Ma5colo 2006 Charitable Foundation is constituted under a trust deed dated 9 May 2006 a5
amended on 8 13nuary 2010 and is a registered charity, number L133288. The name of the charity was amended to The
Anthony & Pat Charitable Foundation on 3 May 2012.
The trustees are appointed by the Board of Trustees. The Trust was establlshed to glve expresslon of the charitable
Intentions of Anthony and Patricia Mascolo.
Donations are not invited frorn mernbers of the general public.
The Trust will achieve its objectives rnainly by making grants to a variety of charities.
Trustees meet at least twice a year to give tonsideration to the status or the Foundation's funding, reserves, risks,
investrnents and grant making. The Foundation has no paid staff, however, the trustees call upon the services of certain
eThployees of AB & P Mascolo Investments LLP, a related partyi for the provision of consultancy services and administrative
support.
The power to appoint new trustees rests with the existing trustees. On appointment. the decision making process of the
Foundation is explained to new trustees by one of the existing trustees who a150 provide an overview of the administrative
procedures employed by the Foundation.

The trustees are resPOn5ible for p￿parIng the Tru5tee5' Report and the financial 5tatetnents in accordance with applicable law
3nd United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Pr3Cticel.
The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial
year which glve a true and fair view of the state of affalrs of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of
resources of the charity for that period. In preparing the financial staternents the trustees are required to..
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently,.
observe the methods and principles in the Charity SORP,.
make judgments and accounting estimates that are reasonable and prudent,. and
p￿pare the financial statement5 On the going concern ba515 unle55 It is inappropriate to presume that the charity will
continue in business.
The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at anytime the
financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the account5 comply with the Charitie5 Act 2011, the
Charity (Atcounts and Reports) Regulation$ 2008 and the provisions of the trust deed. They are also ￿spOnSible for
safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and
other irregularities.

charity'5 website. Legislation in the United Kingdotn governing the preparation and dissemination of financial statement5 may

port to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Anthony & Pat Charitable Foundation (the Trust) for the
year ended S April 2025.
Responsibilities and Basis of Report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 2011 I-the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust'5 account5 carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Art and in carrying
out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of
the Act.

I have completed my examination. I conflrm that no material Mat￿r5 have come to my attention in connectlon wlth the
examination giving rne cause to believe that in any rnaterial respect..
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act., or

3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and contents of accounts set out in

The Anthony & Pat Charitable Foundation is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Charity Commission,

2. 1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS 1021 "Accounting and
Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in
accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective I
January 20191. Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic
of Ireland 2nd the Charities Act 2011.
The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
2.2. Incoming Resources
All incomlng resources are included In the statement of financial activlties when entitlement has passed to the charlty,.
it is probable that the economic benefits a550ciated with the transaction will flow to the charity and the amount can be

in which case the value Is derived from the cost to the donor or the estirnated resale value. Donated facilities and
service5 are recognised in the account5 when received if the value can be reliably ￿easure￿. No amounts are included
for the contribution of general volunteers.
Income from contrarts for the supply of services is recognised with the delivery of the contracted service. This is
classified as unrestricted fund5 unle55 there is a contractual requirement for it to be spent on a particular purpose and
returned if unspent, in which case it may be regarded as restricted.
Gift Aid income Is recognised when the qualifying donation Is received 3nd there is sufficient evidence to support the
Gift Aid claim. Gift Aid recoverable at the reporting date but not yet received is included within debtors.
2.3. Resources Expended
Expenditure 15 recogni5ed on an accruals basis as a liability is incvrred. Expenditure includes any VAT which cannot be
fully recovered, and Is classified under headings of the statement of financial activities to which It relates..

Cash and cash equivalents are basic financial assets and include cash In hand and deposits held at call with banks,
