The balance carried forward will be used partlyto fvnd families unable to payfor their children to attend
8HHC in February 2026 as there is no HAF 8rant for the February date5.
Also included in Donatlons & Fundraising a￿ surpluses from the Summer Fair £6,721 and Christmas Tree
Festival £12.902. and grants £10,450.
The balance of £51,696. including £6,447 regarded as restricted, arises from gener31 dona￿OnS, contrib-
utions towards various regular church a￿vI￿eS, such as Warm Welcome and Open Door, and fundraising
events such as cor¢cert5.
2. Sundry income comprise5 reimbursèd administration £4,7CQ. rentsl of fa¢illtles £11,565 lof which £5,419
to registered charitiesl anil VAT reclaimed on stonework restoratlon £1,347.
3. General expenses includes payroll pro￿$sing costs £1,089, donations to Say Yes £1.21XJ, replacement car
reader £482. new AV fixed screen & computer £1,255, new marquee covering £764, replacement screens
£2,016, replacement fridge freezer £549, boundary wall ￿pair £1,905, website mabntenance £587, follow-
up visit by Lead Academy £867.
The balance £5,598 comprises numerous miscellaneous Items such as cleaning materials, washroom
hygiene and servicing sundry items of equipment.
4. As prefaced in last year's accounts, the Firtanclal Ombudsman ruled in our favour as regards a majority of
the fvnds drawn fraudulently from the Uoyds Bank account in 2023. The amount shown as received in the
accounts is the full settlement with Uoyds Bank.

5. Service collections and Service expenses £1.827- this is the totsl of collecbons at services where the
collection 15 for other than church funds i.e. Royal Brikn"sh Legion. Methodist Ordination, Shifnal Senior5.

A total of £4,5(X) donations were received specffically towards the cost of repladng the gas boiler5. This
money wa5 expended in entirety during the year. This income and expenditure is shown in the Restrlcted
Fund5 column in the Income & Expenditure account accordinglv.
6. £20.OCK) was withdrawn ¢Jurlng the year to part-fund stonework restoration in 2024 and 2025, and, from
the Polnton and M Ball Trusts. to fund expenditure on various items detailed In Note 4.
7. The gas boilers were renewed in November 2025 at a cost of £17,329. They have an expected 15-year life.
Depreciation £329 has been charged in this year'5 accounts and wlll then be charged at £1,7CQ per anftum
over a 10-year period.
8. Included in bank balances is the restritted funds balance a5 at 31st December 2025 of £2,754.31. This
comprises Forget-Me-Not Group £399.04, Cholr Fund £408.00 and Christians Together in Shlfnal District
£1,947.27.

ststements Include all assets arsd liabilibes for which the PCC1s responsible in law. They do not
Include the accounts of church group5 that owe their main affiliatton to another body nor those that
are informal 8*herings of church members.

Re5trirted funds comprise two elements..
. Income from trusts or endowments which may be expended only on those re#rfcted objects
provided in the tenTrs of the trust or beque5L
b. Donations or grants received for a specific object or invited by the PCC for a speclfic object. The
funds may only be expended on the speclfic object for which they were given. Any balance
remainin8 unspent at the end of each year must be carried forward as a balance on that fund. The
PCC does not Usually invest separately for each fund. whe￿ there is no separate investment.
Interest is apporboned tt) individual ftsnds on an average balance basis.
All funds not designated as endowment or restrirted are unrestricted funds which can be freely
spent on the PCC'S generdl purpose.
Intomlng Resources
Planned glvinB. collectlons and donattons a￿ rec￿nIsed when recefved. Tax refunds are reco8ni5ed
when the incomin8 resource to which they relate 15 received. Legacies a￿ accounted for when the
PCC is legally entitled to the amounts due. Dividends are accounted for when recefvable.
Interest received and all other income Is recognised when it is receivable. All incomin8 resources arè
accounted for gross. Grants and donatlons are accounted for when paid over, or when awarded If
that award create5 a binding or constructive obligation on the PCC. The Oiocesan Common Fund
payments (previously Parish Share) are accounted for when due. Amounts recefjved specfflcally
for mlsslon are dealt with as restritted funds.
All other expenditure is generally recognlsed vthen ft Is Incurred and15 accounted for gross.

Charitie5 Art 2011. Moveable church furnishings held bythe Vicar and Churchwardens on special

Church's inventory. which can be inspected at any reasonable time. For anything acquired prior to
2C￿ there is Insufficient cost information avallable and such assets are not included in the financial
ststements.
