Whilst we do support national and international relief efforts at appropriate times, the Jempsons Foundation has been setup to principally support local projects and charities.
To provide donations to Rye and Battle foodbanks especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic, helped by the generous donations from customers.
The main activities undertaken this year were:
Opening of a Jempsons Foundation paypal account so customers can donate to Rye and Battle foodbank directly. This money is then transferred to the Jempsons Foundation bank account and then donated to the Foodbank.
Customers can donate to the Jempsons Foundation Hardship Fund by handing in their SavaClub coupons rather than spending them at the stores.
To date, £22,000 has been raised for the Rye Foodbank; we thank our customers for their generosity.
